Months before the accident....

Kelsey Pov.

I still can't believe na I'm engaged. Parang kailan lang alex told me na she's not ready on levelling up our relationship. I was shocked at first dahil wala akong ka idea idea. Medyo nakakatawa pa nga yun way ng pag po-poprosed niya.

It was on the day before our second anniversary. We were going to our family house in alabang because umuwi din si mommy dito sa Philippines.

Nasa kahabaan na kami ng edsa- makati ng abutan kami ng stoplight. Nasa 80 seconds ang time bago mag green light. When suddenly she asked me to watch the billboard commercial. For me parang ano bang meron don. Naiinis pa nga ako kasi pinipilit niyang kunin yung attention ko which is i hate talaga. I never look out kasi sa mga billboard ads don dati.

Sa unang tingin it's just a normal ads which is a wedding organizer.

Then biglang may led lights na nagflash sa screen na " My Love for you is never ending will you marry me Kelsey?"

As i read the words Alex at the same time called my name and asked me the same questions.

Hawak hawak ang bouquet of my favorite flower and a small box.

Never in my life i imagined proposal like this. Sa gitna ng traffic sa edsa. Kasabay ng pag red ng traffic lights, ang paghinto ng lahat ng sasakyan sa paligid ay paghinto din ng oras for me. She opened the box and there i saw a rose gold diamond ring. Hindi na napigilan ng mga luha ko ang mag unahan sa paglabas. I can't contain my emotions right now.

She held my face and told me jokingly na 40 seconds na lang mag ggreen light na.

" Babe i know this is the lamest wedding proposal but still i ask you again will you be my woman for the rest of my life? Will you marry my love?"

"I am the happiest today. Of course i will marry you and be with you forever alex, i love you, i love you so much"

She kissed me on my lips. And put the ring on my finger. I took the chance to take a picture of it before the traffic lights turns to green.

I'm staring at my ring habang binabalikan ang nakaraan. Thinking na how can she come up with that idea. It's not really bad. At wala man lang witness or video. She's really not a romantic type.

Natatawa na lang ako habang nagbabasa ng comments sa ig since i posted the picture. Nalaman ko din na she asked raine's help to find where made to order the ring which is si alex ang nag design.

We're here nga sa bahay namin together with my friends, her friends, my family and hers too.

When we got here kanina i was surprised dahil may mga bisita. I never though that this day will come as early kasi nga when we tried to talked about it dati hindi pa nga daw niya naiisip yun. I just wondering kailan pa nagbago yun isip niya.

" Lalim ng iniiisip mo cous" lisa ask me.

" Hmmm i just happy cous, i though this day will not come"

" Expect the unexpected when it comes to rie kels" singit naman ni raine.

" Do you know when she planned all of this raine?"

" Yeah, after nuong failed proposal ni  isabelle but i didn't know na ganoon yung idea niya hahah"

" oo nga kaloka talaga si rie" saad naman ni Anne.

" We're happy for the both of you" saad muli ni raine.

After the small party ay umuwi na rin ang iba. Yun family naman ni rie ay umuwi din dahil nagrent pala sila ng van.
