A/N: It's Angie's turn!
T/W: self harm, rape
You know what you do when your heart gets broken? You move on. You have to, there's no other option. You could spend your days crying and feeling sorry for yourself, but Angie sees that as a waste of time. And that is why after her utter rejection from Theo, she doesn't pout and whine, she moves on. She would rather just be friends with Theo than completely lose her. Sure, she broke down for the first night, but after that she was fine. She's fine.
Angie is on her way home from spending the night at Aunt Angelica's house. She's enjoying the feel of the crisp cool winter air on her skin and the sunlight in her hair as she walks. Laughter of children floats in her ears and a chirping cardinal sings a happy tune. Suddenly what seemed to be a relaxing morning is too much. It's too loud and bright. Children are screaming and shouting, people walking past talk in rapid tones. Birds chirp loudly and snow crunches under her feet. Angie covers her ears to try and block out some of the noise but it doesn't work.
The noise is flooding over her, filling her senses until it blends into one loud roar in her ears. Angie sinks to the ground and covers her eyes, knowing what comes next.
"Open your eyes child," a voice calls.
Angie forcefully shakes her head.
"We have a message for you," a different voice calls.
"NO!" Angie screams, "I don't want to hear your messages!"
"But this one is very important child," another voice says.
"If you don't listen, someone you care about could die," a fourth voice calls and this voice is familiar. Very familiar.
Almost against her will, Angelica peels her eyes open. Standing in front of her is Aunt Peggy.
"Aunt Peggy," Angelica sobs, "I missed you so much!"
Angie leaps into Peggy's open arms.
But why is she crying? And why does she miss Aunt Peggy so much? Something tickles the back of Angie's brain, something is wrong with this, but she doesn't know what. She can't figure it out.
"We don't have much time to talk, I'm on my way somewhere so listen closely," Peggy says stroking Angie's hair.
Angie nods and leans into Peggy's warmth, "where are you going?"
"On a trip, but that's unimportant. Listen, someone you care about could die, but there's a way you can save them."
"Who?"
Peggy looks pained, "my child, Philip is in grave danger and unless you eliminate the threat he will die."
Tears fill Angie's eyes, "Philip? What's going to happen to him?"
"I foresee a gun wound, lots of blood, time running out..." Peggy trails off, looking lost in thoughts.
The tears in Angie's eyes spill out. "How do I save him?" she asks in a breaking voice.
"Kill Theodosia," Peggy says and her voice is joined by thousands of others.
"What?" Angie stumbles backwards.
Peggy's voice sounds warped and twisted now, "Theodosia is the reason Philip dies, if you don't kill her, Philip will die. And soon the rest of your family will follow, your father, your mother, your other siblings. If you kill Theodosia though, much carnage could be avoided. Everyone would be happier."
"No!" Angie screams, "No!"
"You have to choose."
"I can't!" Angie begins to sob.
