It truly excited me about the surprise that my friends had
planned for me. I went upstairs to change quickly.

Aly was in his room showering, I guessed.
I quickly changed to floral one-piece fit, and flare short
dress, and tied my hairs up. I applied little lip-gloss, and with that I was ready, ready for a girls' night out. Before leaving,
I looked at Aly's room, which was closed. I was still
debating with myself whether to tell him I was going out or not. But if I tell him that, somehow it will mean something different, which I didn't want him to think.

So, I said, nothing,
and closed the door behind me as I left.
I got ready first, and then nidhi joined me after a moment.
"What's the surprise about?" I asked her eagerly.
"i m not going to tell you," nidhi shook her head no.
"How rude!" I tried to trick her into saying; in a baby voice.

"You will love it." She assured me with a wide smile.
"Obviously not a single doubt in that, whatever you do I will always love that" I said, with pride.

I loved my friends and trusted them with my life. I knew
whatever they did; they do it with their heart, and for my
happiness.
"Will see" she said, with uncertainty.

"Let's go" bharti said hurriedly, and pulled me along towards the lift.
"That's what I'm asking; where?" I teased as she pulled me along with her.

"You stay quiet and keep walking," bharti warned me. She seems nervous for some reason.
"Yes, Madam." I teased her again.

They lead me all the way to the terrace of the hotel;
There was no lock on the door of the terrace. My friends
stood behind me and asked me to open it. As I opened the door, a sparkling light caught eyes, and I gasped. The terrace was empty, and in the middle, a small part of it was decorated like a canopy tent with little twinkling lights all over the polls, and a focus that lightened the tent. The floor was covered with a big square red coloured carpet along with pink and white balloons. There was a small table at the side,
and as I walked closer, I saw a blue-tooth speaker placed on it along with some pink flowers.

As I stepped in the tent, I noticed there was no place to sit. So, I turned and asked.
"What's the occasion?" I asked, surprised.
"Private DJ party," avika shouted; startling me.
"Yes?" I asked, as she bounced;

I wanted to spend a night with my girls, and this was the
perfect surprise.
"What did I do to deserve this?" I asked as I walked over the carpet and kicked some balloons on the way.

"Let's dance." bharti pulled me, refused to answer my
question.
"Who's the DJ?"I asked, excited to play some  songs.
"Everyone will play their favourite song one by one," nidhi
informed.

One by one we all played our favorite songs and now Bharti's turned to choose.

"You continue I need to use the washroom." Nidhi excused herself.

We were standing waiting for her to start, and then the
music played; living me shocked to my core. bharti never listened to an English song ever before, and the song played was not only an English song but was also, one of my favourite song, and they knew it. I made sure they knew it.

She played'Can I have this Dance?' from High School Musical 3

"What the fuck!" I gasped as she smiled looking at me.

"This is your second surprise," nidhi said, standing behind me.
I turned, and it was Aly who was standing behind me,
and behind him stood nidhi smiling at me.

Take my hand, take a breath.

He took my hand, and as he took a step forward; I took mine backward.

Pull me close and take one step.
Keep your eyes locked on mine.

He was looking into my eyes, and I was smiling and
mouthing the lyrics alone.

And let the music be your guide.

We moved, swinging, dancing, having fun. He knew all his steps of the song just as I knew mine. He spins me again and left my hand, and I stopped with a pose a non-stopped smile.
Then the song continued. Now Troy singed.

take my hand. I'll take the lead.

He asked for my hand again, and I took it with a smile.
Hurrying towards him.

And every turned will be safe with me.

He spins me a 360 turned.

Don't be afraid, afraid to fall.

He pulled me close, too close, and my smile faded away forra second.

You know Il catch you through it all

He was not just mouthing the words but also singing along with it. He was smiling too.

And you can't keep us apart
(even a thousand miles can't keep us apart)
Cause my heart is (cause my heart is)

Wherever you are...

As the song ended, he was still holding my hand, and then Bharti stopped the music, and they came forward. It confused me;

He bends down on his one knee still holding my hand.
My inner self panicked.
No-no-no this can't be happening. This should not be
happening. I can't. I was not ready to forgive him'
At that moment memories flashed in front of my eyes.
Flashes of me crying holding the letters on the first day, crying in the rain so, no one could know I cried.

Suffering from pain; Inside every day for the last nine years. He don't know what I have gone through. I just can't forget everything just because he made me smile for five minutes. It was not fair or justice to myself if I just forgive him. I don't trust him.

I don't think I can do that. My eyes filled with tears, and he said.
"Will you be mine? and" I interrupted him before he could
continue something else.
I placed my finger on his lips, and said, each word slowly and clearly.
