Happy Saturday wherever you are in world. I am so happy that you guys are reading. I know nobody reads the authors note but if you are, I want to thank you for reading. 900 reads is a lot! Thank-You.

Tao new where we going and cantered along without any guidance. I used the time to sooth my nerves because they were going to betray me first. The black gate stood over me as I rode up to it and looked up. Orc sentries were running around and yelling at other orcs.
"Let me in." I yelled my bravery increasing. "I am the Daughter of Sauron ready to lead his armies in the final assault." I said again. The black gate suddenly opened with a creak and I saw a black cloaked figure standing with welcoming arms. Hate filled me but I ran into them anyway. Khamul embraced me tight.

"I thought you were dead!" He said.
"I'm so sorry to have left you. The ring has lead me across Middle Earth and now home."
"Come on, let us talk to your father he will be happy to know of your return." An orc took Tao's reins and walked him away. "You won't be needing him for much longer." Khamul said."What do you mean?" I said anxiously. He chuckled, and said "You'll see." We walked up the foot of the tour of Barad Dur. The great eye was watching me so I smiled up to it. We passed through the lower levels of the tour and then the middle and then the top. My room stood there untouched just like I left it. I hated it.
"Argh, it's so nice to have some privacy. Those fools have me looking over my shoulder." I said.
"You must have been under so much pressure." Khamul said.
"You have no idea." I replied. We reached the ladder leading up to my father. I climbed up it gracefully and calmly but my insides were liquid. I could hear my heart thudding through my chest and I suddenly had the energy to run back to Rohan into Legolas' arms. I pushed all thought out of my head and focused on looking calm. I had never been one to act but now my life depended on it.

I now stood in front of my father and put on my best scowly face.
"Let me at those scum and I will rip there guts out." I announced. My father laughed.
"Ebony," I restrained a shiver "You will have your time. I believe though you have failed to get the ring."
"The ring is coming father, I cannot tell you it's current location but the fools who carry it to you are weak minded and stupid. They were all talked up about saving to world by that so called wizard." My father let out a throaty noise, maybe a laugh.

"What news from Saruman? Is Rohan no more, as promised?"
"Well," I said nervously. "They won the battle... and Saruman's dead..." There was silence. Until Sauron spoke again.
"They may have won one battle but we shall win the war."
"Win!?" I yelled. "We will destroy them without a fight! Rohan will not answer the call of Gondor and Minas Tirith has no armies!"
"One last thing my daughter," He said. "Your are to married tonight." I blinked not processing what he said.
"To who?"
"Oh I think you know and you will be very pleased." He said almost kindly. Khamul appeared beside me. "Your offspring will be next great enemy a new race perhaps. Half dead half elf." I felt feet trembling in my toes.
"It would be an honor father." I said not really trying to hide my emotions.
"Of course, go to your room and put on the clothes I have picked out for you." I nodded. "Come here in an hour." I bowed and left my heart yearning for a close hug of someone warm and real.

The dress was coal black and made out of a hard leather like material. I ran my hand over it and focused on my breathing. In, out, in, out, inhale, exhale. I was supposed happy. To them, this was the greatest day of my life. I practiced my smile. I felt my cheeks lift up but I knew without looking it was fake. I had to get away but I couldn't. This was a war I was fighting in. Never cower. I allowed myself a few minutes to sit and be miserable but not cry in case anyone came in. When that was over I pulled on the dress. It reveled my necklace, a gift from the lady Galadriel. A little jewel shaped like an Elinor flower. I wanted to wear it badly but I took it of and packed it carefully away underneath the mattress of my bed. Instead I wore my mothers crown as Khamul had given it to me and they were painfully unaware that I knew it's history. The hour was almost up, I left my blond curls down knowing that they would be changed back eventually. I walked up the ladder the dress bouncing behind me. Khamul l stood in front of the eye waiting for me. He held out his hands and I took them cold as they were. I imagined Legolas' face and wondered if we would get married.

"Ebonausan ro avhe mubullat avower, lat have been ukummonun avo marrausan anoavhas." (Ebony of the dark tower, you have been summoned to marry another)

Khamul took a little bowel, one of three from a nearby table. He smeared blood under my eye
"For feraviavy, grace agh beauavausan. (For fertility, grace and beauty.)

He took another cup this one filled with ashes. Once again he smeared into under my other eye.

"for ukpiriav love agh paukukion" (For spirit, love and passion)

The last cup was water and strangely clean.
"for puriavausan love agh devoavion" (For purity, honor and devotion) The last words stung. I took the water that was handed to me and Khamul indicated for me to drink it. I did and I felt it burn in my throat.

"You are now man and wife." My father spoke. I smiled thinking of happy things and blocking out everything else.

I followed Khamul to the stables where he said he had a wedding gift for me.
"You knew he was going to have us married!" I exclaimed.
"Of course! That was what he wanted from the beginning."
"Oh, well then..." We walked into the stable and I ran to Tao's stall. To my relief he was ok but he evidently not pleased about returning to Mordor. He missed the green rolling hills and the sweet smell of the rain... A roar snapped me out of my daydream. I giant dragon creature was being roped down my a dozen orcs all avoiding being eaten. It roared again.
"A fell beast." I breathed.
"All of the nine have one."
"What for."
"The final attack on Minas Tirith." I remembered my task.
"When do we attack?"

"We will release the armies from Minas Morgul tomorrow. They will attack from the river and destroy Osgiliath. When the last of the men there are slaughtered, then we will make our move to the great city." He growled but the excitement was laced in his voice.

"We should delay the attack." I said swallowing the lump in my throat. "Give them more time to prepare themselves, give them hope, make them think we have have underestimated them. Then, attack the city over a few days only sending a few forces at a time. Making them enjoy there death after they have watched the city fall." I said cockily. "We have more numbers in this land then they can ever imagine. Let us enjoy that."

Khamul looked thoughtful and approving of that idea. "You plan is a good one but your father has strict orders not to detail from the plan." He looked suddenly accusing of me. "Why do you want to delay the attack." He asked each word like venom in a wound.
"I told you. I want to make them feel the helplessness that I did in there hands." I snapped back. "You are questioning my loyalties?" I asked this time even colder.
"No." Khamul said quickly but no less challengingly.
I smiled. "So, where is this army?" I said calmly.
"Well the Easterlings will come by ship on the river. A surprise attack you will enjoy to watch. Shortly after a the Southerners take out ground forces with there Oliphant beasts and of course the army in Minas Morgal is nothing to brush off." I smiled.
"Well maybe there deaths will be just as painful as I thought." I said internally despairing.
"Indeed." Was the reply.
