T H E A

"You actually managed to keep a child alive for almost twenty-four hours?" Shyla gasps in amazement, her tone completely mocking and sarcastic and I roll my eyes at her, flipping her off playfully.

Brody chuckles amusingly, resting his elbows on the table as he covers his mouth with his hands. "I mean.. you did a better job than what I could." He admits.

A freaking dog could probably do a better job than Brody.

"I thought you guys would've had more faith in me." I say playfully Aven smiles, biting into one of her fries.

"Well if it's any consolation, I did." She replies as she chews her food.

"Ass licker." Brody scoffs and Aven narrows her eyes at him, offering a smug and very forced smile.

We've been at the mall for about two hours now and to say my legs feel like they're about to fall off would probably be more of an understatement than an exaggeration.

Right now we're currently eating McDonald's in the food court because McDonald's is the freaking bomb, obviously. You can't go wrong with a big mac and fries.

"So, Sienna's bump is getting pretty big now, huh?" Shyla comments and I nod, finding myself smiling a little.

"She's due in like, two months." I tell her and her eyes widen slightly.

"Shit, already? That's gone so quick." She replies and I nod again, agreeing with her.

It has. Time has gone so fast and it seems like it's just flashing before my eyes.

We only have five days until Valentine's Day and I'm honestly so excited to actually spend one with Rio. Our first one together, as a couple.

I have no idea what we're going to do because honestly, I haven't planned anything. I didn't really know what to do or what he would like.. so I just went with the easiest option and decided we could just stay in.. I guess.

Anyway, it doesn't matter what we do as long as we spend the day together.

I'm happy as long as I'm with him.

"Hellooo.. Earth to Thea." Brody says sarcastically as he waves his hand in front of my face, snapping me out of my daydream.

"What?" I mumble as my eyes flick between the trio. Shyla exchanges a look with Aven and they both begin to smile. "What?" I ask again, and they both shrug their shoulders nonchalantly.
