since graduating saebom high, far too much had changed.
they had become trainees full time, devoting their time to their musical careers with only hope in their hearts that one day a debut date could be confirmed and everything paid off.
but for now, they could only work hard and pray that whatever they were doing was right and that day of success was somewhere in the future.
until then, han seojun and hwang miyeon tried their very hardest to keep their friendship alive. not that it was hard at all, just strained from the various hours that they were given and worked. but they made it work, they always had.
four things remained the same though.
one, lee suho was still in america and there wasn't any talk of him returning. two, seojun and miyeon still had an incredible group of friends who were oh-so supportive of their careers. three, han seojun was still in love with im jugyeong.
four, hwang miyeon was still waiting.

❛ AUTHOR'S NOTE ━━ wow, first of all, just wow. i honestly have no words for how much has come with this book. there have been so many comments of support and love for my characters and their stories that it's been quite overwhelming. so i just want to collectively thank everyone for reading, i do see every single comment and vote and they all mean the world to me.
second, this chapter is being published at the same time as i publish the introductory chapter to the sequel of this book, which as you guessed it - is called remedy. and like many guessed and i have implied, it does follow the drama and take place a year or so after their graduation.
warning, i will be taking about a week off to prepare a few other things for the book after i have published that introduction, so don't be too upset if i don't update immediately.
(update; i decided to wait to post this chapter and so this should be posted on saturday the 22nd. i've taken the week to sort things out, so get ready for more chapters to be posted)

fourth, i would like to formally apologise for any emotional turmoil i have caused. perhaps it was my intent, but all the same i am very sorry.

sixth, thank you for 500k reads in just 127 days, that's actually incredible and it makes me feel really fuzzy honestly. there are 140 written chapters to this book and six other chapters, and considering i published once a day, sometimes twice, the fact it's only been 127 days does make sense but it's still surprising. i will attribute some of that to my ability to blow anything off to write and the fact i always have five chapters prewritten.
