Chapter 34.5: The Wedding Day (Part2)

After the dance, the newlyweds sat in table designated to them. Shoyo's face blooms with happiness just as happy as Wakatoshi.

They heard someone talk in the mic.

"Hello, Good evening everyone! I'm your emcee for tonight, Jade is the name. Today is a very, very special day for our newlyweds. And most people here are very special to them. So this time, I asked the newlyweds on who among you all should they ask to come forward and tell your wishes to them. We don't have all night for all of you as, You know, Couple's night" she said the last part with her brows wiggling.

"So first one on the list, may I ask to step forward, Tendou Satori. Mr. Ushijima Wakatoshi's bestfriend."

The crowd cheered up as Tendou steps on the podium. "Hello! So I was asked to give a message huh. Well my message is just short. Wakatoshi, I only met you since highschool but I know enough that if you're like something, you're giving your all to win it. And this time, you pursued your love with Karasuno's number 10!

I know, for the first time, when you said you felt something looking at Shoyo aside from being annoyed back in Highschool" the crowd laughs at that part "I know that you're falling in love with him. Like who wouldn't be, he's a literal god-sent beauty. Some of the people I know out there admits they have crush on Shoyo too! And now, that you're finally married to him, and you won his love, I wish you all the happiness in the world. And to you Shoyo, Love my bestfriend as much as he loves you! And make each other happy. That's what you both deserves."

The two mouthed 'Thank you's as Tendou sat back down. Reon just pats Tendou's back.

"That's a very nice message from Mr. Wakatoshi's bestfriend. Now, it's Shoyo's bestfriend's turn! Ehem, Shoyo had been on a hard decision, but he chose Kageyama Tobio to step forward." Jade whispered at the mic playfully "By the way, Shoyo knows Tsukishima won't step forward so he didn't chose him"

They heard Tsukishima said 'What the fuck?!' making Shoyo chuckled.

"So yeah, you chose me to speak up like I really want to do this huh? Boke Hinata Boke!" Other guests laughs at Kageyama's signature line for Shoyo "So yeah, Boke. You've been that friend who annoys me for years now. You're like this friend I always wanted to beat, both competitively and physically. But setting those aside, I always wish for your happiness. Because even if it's hard for me to admit, all of your friends don't like it when your sad, Counting both me and Kei in."

Tsukishima shouted 'Thats a no you stupid mother fucker!'

"And so now that you married Ushijima san, all I wish is for you is to get all the happiness in this world, from this day forward. And to you Ushijima san, I warn you, make my bestfriend spill a teardrop and I'll hunt you down like a madman, you hear me? That's all."

Shoyo just hugged Kageyama and Wakatoshi nodded, acknowledging Kageyama's warning.

Jade then calls for Mrs Ushijima and Utsui. Mrs. Ushijima cried while giving his message to his son while Utsui gave a short congratulations for the two as he comforted the crying mother.

Natsu then came next as she just made people laugh while giving her heartwarming message. Making Shoyo cry.

And lastly, Mr and Mrs Hinata gave their message to the two. Mrs Hinata told them all about keeping they're marriage strong, while Mr. Hinata made a story about Shoyo's childhood (saying how such a happy child Shoyo is) then give a strong protective message to Wakatoshi warning him not to hurt his only son.

Jade then said that it's time for the couple to slice and eat their wedding cake. And as cringey as it sounds, While Wakatoshi fed Shoyo his slice, Shoyo smeared it to Wakatoshi's chin and licked it, making Wakatoshi blushed. All of the guests witnessed it and howled, teasing mostly the brunette.

After that is the time for the garter (which is weird because Shoyo didn't wore any)and bouquet tossing part.

Jade gathered all the single and still not married Tops around for the garter throwing. When Wakatoshi tossed the garter, Kita Shinsuke caught it. Bokuto pouted and murmured 'But he didn't even tried to catch that one. How did he got it?'

Then it's the bottoms turn. After Shoyo tossed the bouquet, it was almost gotten by Oikawa. But he remembered that the garter was not with Iwaizumi, he let others catch it. And it ended up getting caught by the singer who sung the wedding song, Tsukishiro Mavis. Mavis only looked awkwardly and sat down.

But it wasn't the end of it as Jade asked the two to go to the middle. Mavis was asked to sit and Kita was asked to put the garter on Mavis' leg. Jade pouted and sung in a low voice 'That should be me~' that was heard by Kageyama who's eyes twitched for a second.

Shoyo and Wakatoshi now in their reserved Hotel. They decided to do that as they planned to actually do the honeymoon after the olympics that was going to happen soon. (After the olympics, the two is going on hiatus)

The Red head stared at the brunette "So, what should uhm, what should we do now that we're alone?"

Wakatoshi stared back at the ginger "It's all up to you. What is it that you want to do tonight?"

"Hmm not sure... Wait, we're married now, why are we so awkward about this?"

Wakatoshi chuckled "I'm not being awkward. I'm just considering what you want cause if you're asking what I want, I'm going to say I want to ravish you. Right now."

Shoyo's face goes red and said "T-then... Why don't you do it? That's what we supposed to do, right?"

Wakatoshi came closer to the ginger slowly "Hmm really? Can I? That's what all I'm thinking about since I saw you walk down the isle in that red heels. I don't know what's with those shoes but..." The brunette leaned on Shoyo's ears "You seem to look hotter for me."

Shoyo shivered and sighed "Really? The shoes had that effect on you?" He leaned onto Wakatoshi's butterfly kisses behind his ears.

"Yeah, and you looked so beautiful in your suit. Though I bet you look more beautiful without them"

Shoyo chuckled "Funny I'm thinking about the same thing."

"Then should we look if it's true? Well I don't need to prove it since I know you look divine however you look. But I want you out of your suit now."

Shoyo kissed him and said "Say less"

And they made love for the first time as a married couple that night. Doing just like how they did it the first time.

They did it with Shoyo lying on the table, or kneeling on the bed, while taking a bath or the red head even took Wakatoshi from behind, leaning on the railing of the balcony.

So it wasn't that surprising that the two didn't come when they supposed to be going to eat with their family the next day. The two never had enough sleep as they made love the whole night till sunrise.

But that's worth it. Especially for Wakatoshi. Though he knew he had all the time in the world to do that with Shoyo their whole lives.

The next chapter will be either tomorrow or the other day. It will be the Epilogue though. 😭 And I'm thinking if I should write a Special chapter or not.
