"you good?" Ranboo mumbles next to me as the group leaves.

"uh—yeah, I just feel really bad about...this whole thing"

"come with me" he takes my hand and pulls me into the hallway outside of the kitchen.

As soon as we're out of earshot from the others, he starts to speak again, "it's not your fault, don't take the blame for Keira, plus Ollie already had beef with her from when she went to school anyways..."

"but—"

"nope! Don't doubt yourself" he puts a finger up to shush me.

"I feel horrible!" I stress, "Ollie's hand is injured!"

"Because of Keira!" he reminds, "Keira did that to Ollie, Not Vena! Vena was a victim of toxicity"

"well Vena still thinks that this could've been avoided if she wasn't there! Vena ticked Keira off" I talk in 3rd person.

"come with me"

"you're very spontaneous today..." I observe as he scribbles something down on a scrap piece of paper, taping it to the door.

We're not kidnapped

We're not getting mugged in an alleyway (Ollie I hope your hand is well)

We're not making children cry with exploding coke bottles (although that would be funny)

We're not throwing bricks at birds (I have no regrets)

We're not getting drunk on a roof (Alex and Iris im looking at you specifically)

We're not eating an entire pan of weed brownies as a bribe from Bonnie and Clyde (this is targeted at Ollie and Tommy)

We're not going to live our cottagecore lives in the woods with a garden and Bees (that's Vee and Tubbo's plan)

We're not speed running and doing weird Florida man stuff (Dream this one's for you)

We ARE checking the time, although it may not be as iconic as the ✨ dad watch ✨

We ARE being careful out   a l o n e   in this cruel world

"you put the little peace sign" I point out, Ranboo carefully slipping out the door along with me, we have about an hour of sunlight left.

"yeah, its our symbol after all"

"it is" I blush slightly at the fact, "where are we going?"

"somewhere only we know." he explains simply, it takes me a split-second to realize where, and I smile.
