Tw: anxiety, lots of crying (#relatable)
Everyone say thank you Luv for making me post this earlier <3
The morning was foggy in my mind, and before I knew it, Ollie was forcing me to eat some leftover pasta. I was thankful for it, but at the same time all hopes of having an appetite were lost.
"tell me something sad up about your life so I feel better" I muttered in hopes of distracting myself, swirling my fork around the bowl of noodles.
Ollie leaned on the palm of her hand in thought, "I might be charged with my parents own murder if the team makes a convincing story against me...? Is that good?"
"that sucks." I blanked, "do you really think you'll—get charged?"
She made a so-so gesture, "depends. Once we get into court it might be easier to tell, but it's pretty f*cked up."
I sighed, not knowing exactly what to say, instead I opted to change the direction of the conversation, "when our flight?"
"8 tomorrow morning, We should leave here around 6" Ollie explained, putting away some dishes as we talked.
I nodded, finally eating a few bites of my pasta as she continued,
"do you want me to invite Iris over? She might want to hang out If she's not too busy with iPad kid." Ollie said the last bit with a sarcastic annoyance.
"sure" I shrugged, if I wasn't to see Iris for a while, there was no harm in maybe hanging out with her for the afternoon.
Ollie smiled, "great! I'll text her to let her know, she'd be happy to see you."

"When did 'not telling Iris anything until last minute' become normalized?" Iris sighed as she shrugged her jacket off, which was sprinkled with rain droplets. I glanced outside to see that it was indeed raining, which was contritely different from this morning's summer sun.
"To be fair," Ollie tried her best to be optimistic, "Ranboo is only tall, I just put on my handy dandy demonias, and boom, I could reach the alcohol cabinet."
Iris' expression only expressed annoyance in Ollie's perseverance, "it was locked."
"I can pick locks!" Ollie pointed out, "it's easy!—plus, how did you know that it had been unlocked if you haven't been here in a day and you just came in? hmm? Have you been trespassing Iris?"
"Tommy told me you were drunk this morning," Iris commented, "I figured you just picked the lock—unless you passed as a 21-year-old in a liquor store—which I doubt"
"what makes you think I couldn't pass as a 21-year-old!" Ollie only seemed slightly offended by this, "Vee, do you think I could pass as a 21-year-old?"
"Sure?" I wasn't exactly sure how I was supposed to respond to this,
"Thank you Vee" Ollie said with gratitude before changing to a hint of disgust, "Iris is just a non-believer."

"Ollie where are you going?" Iris asked, a tone of suspicion rising as Ollie only half-struggled with putting her converse on.
