[ season 5 episode 8 ]

"Hello!" Holly said, too loudly for Derek's liking. He rolled his eyes as another person jumped onto his bed next to his girlfriend. "So hear me out, George is stupid-"

"I thought we already established that." Cristina said with a shrug and then sipped on her coffee, yelping when Holly hit her on the arm.

"Children." Derek warned as he got out of bed. "Play nice." He smiled at Meredith before walking out the room, he slippers shuffling against the wood.

"Rude, don't be mean to George. Anyway..." Holly was cut off this time by someone running up the stairs and shouting.

"Death! Come on, where are you! Death!"

A blonde woman comes running into Meredith's room, hugging Meredith. "Death!"

"Death?" Holly whispered to Cristina, "What kind of nickname is that?"

"Die! Oh, my God, it's been.." Sadie then sat herself on the bed, between Holly and Cristina - pushing them aside.

"Die? That's literally like telling her to- what is happening!" Holly exclaimed, only to be ignored.

"Forever, you look like.. " Sadie said with a smirk as she faced Meredith. "You look like..." Meredith said with a smile.

"Death!" They shouted in unison, Holly only blinked as she watched the two. Cristina replicating the same facial expression, their mouths wide open in shock, watching the pair wide-eyed.

"Kill me now." Holly muttered, this was going to be a long day if Sadie was sticking around. "Hey." Cristina said, ignoring Holly's comment and interrupting Sadie and Meredith.

"Uh.."

Cristina pointed at Sadie with a raised eyebrow, "Who are you?"

"I'm Sadie, who are you?"

"I'm Cristina." Meredith and Sadie both laugh resulting in Cristina leaving the room, leaving behind a still shocked Holly.

Cristina sighed halfway down the stairs and walked back up, "By the way, you broke Holly." Cristina said before dragging Holly out of the room and into the kitchen.

"Apparently, they went backpacking around Europe or something. Before med school. That woman kicked me out of bed." Cristina complained as she sat on a stool, Cristina on one side of Derek as Holly sat on a stool on the opposite side.

"That's terrible." Derek said, rubbing his chin.

"And death? Meredith's name is not death, it's Mer." Cristina explained taking another bite of her cereal bar.

"Sometimes it's Meri-poo. Just incase you want to piss her off." Holly added, Derek faced her with a raised eyebrow, "Oh! There was this one kid who wouldn't stop pooing so she got loads of poo on her and then I called her Meri-poo. Nobody else calls her it, only me. I thought it was a cool nickname."

Derek slowly nodded, thinking it was too early to be dealing with Cristina and Holly right now. "Right..." Derek started pouring his coffee into his cup looking at the two, "I really feel for you guys."

"You should, it's a tragedy real." Holly said as she stood up and picked up the bag of bread. Opening it and taking out two slices, "She's never even mentioned that blonde before." Holly gasped, dropping the two slices of bread on the floor. "Another blonde. What if she replaces me?"

Derek sighed moving his coffee cup out of the way and hitting his head against the table, "Oh God." He muttered.

Cristina covered her mouth in shock, "She wouldn't, theres no way. I mean she's never mentioned her before, so surely she's not that good of a friend."

Derek lifted his head up off of the table, looking at Holly and then Cristina. "She's good enough to kick all three of us out of bed."

Derek then smiled at them both, "Welcome to my world."

Derek raised his eyebrow as Sadie pushed past Holly and slung her arm across Meredith's shoulder, Holly stumbled almost falling over but luckily Cristina grabbed her and pulled her back. "This woman is the reason I went to med school in the first place." Sadie explained looking back at Cristina and Holly, "I figured if a slacker like death..."

Cristina chuckled softly at the idea of Meredith being a slacker, "Mer."

Cristina was only ignored as Sadie went on, "Could handle slicing people open."

"Mer."

And this time Holly tried to gather Meredith's attention only for Sadie to continue, "Then I could too."

Derek furrowed his eyebrows tuning into the conversation, "Meredith's not a slacker."

Sadie chuckled, looking at Meredith with a raised eyebrow, "Oh, I could tell you some stories."

"But you won't." Meredith said.

Cristina had had enough of being ignored and spoke up louder, "So, Sadie, you postponed your residency to work in a morgue?"

Holly raised her eyebrows, "Sounds extremely depressing."

Sadie smiled, "Oh but it's not, you get to have all the fun cutting with none of the rules. But I got bored, started craving blood that was flowing."

"And now you're here, I can't believe you're here." Meredith said, in complete shock.

"Yay." Cristina and Holly chorused from behind as they entered the hospital.
