Chapter 19

Jimin decide to eat dinner at the outside today. He was too lazy to cook. Daniel was not with him. Jimin asked him to not follow him. At first Daniel denied the request because he doesn't want Jimin to be alone but he insist. Saying that he can take care of himself. So with a heavy heart, Daniel let him go. So here he was, in Italian restaurant. He pouted. Wishing that this was Korea where it have street foods and he can joy to the fullest while eating those dishes. Jimin sighed as he opened the menu. After he observed it for awhile, he decide he will have steaks and a coke. He doesn't have any appetite to eat heavy foods tonight. After the waiter take his order, he decide to call his father. He took out his phone and search his father contact. He press the contact and wait his father to pick up. Then, he heard his father's voice. 

"Hello father!" Jimin greet him. 

"Hey sweetie" Lee Hwa greet him back. But his voice sounds hoarse make Jimin frowned. 

"Father, are you sick?" Jimin asked. His father chuckled. 

"No honey. I'm perfectly fine" Lee Hwa replied. 

No, he's lying. Lee Hwa was laying on his bed with his right hand dangling on the side of the bed. The hand was holding a glass of whiskey. Lee Hwa had been crying since he fight with his son yesterday and never leave his room. He keep drinking and drinking until he feels numb. That was his routine when he feel guilty. And now he feel more guilty when his son is calling him while he was in this state. His eyes red due to crying and voice hoarse because he scream endlessly in the midnight because of how guilty he felt.

"Okay....what are you doing, father? Have you eaten?" Jimin asked. 

"Yes, I have eaten. I'm currently in my office as usual while doing my work. So the conclusion is, you disturbing me" Lee Hwa said. Teasing his son. He heard his son whine. 

"Father, I can see that you've been caged up in your office, you need to leave it for a moment and take a rest a little bit!!!" Jimin said. 

"Can't son. Too many works make me headache. So it's better I settled it all at once" Lee Hwa said. 

"How are you doing son?" Lee Hwa asked. 

From there, Jimin started to tell his father how was his day from the start. He tell his father so many things. By hearing his excited tone, Lee Hwa knows how happy his son was. Jimin told him about his experienced, his students, and sometimes about the hectic day he face. Sometimes, he told his father how his students loves to tell him jokes. Jimin really loves his job. Beside teaching, he makes friend with the students. They were all cheery and enthusiastic with him. While Lee Hwa, his eyes starting to get teary. Lips quivered. He bit his lips to prevent any sobs escaped from his mouth. He just hear what his son story to him. He didn't want to interrupt while his son were talking. He was happy when he heard his son was excited about everything he does while in the inside, he was scared. Scared that after his decision, he will never see his son being like this again. 

"Father?" Jimin stopped his thoughts. He took a deep breath. Tried to control his voice, afraid that it will be quivering. 

"Yes honey, I'm all ear" Lee Hwa said. 

"You seems enjoy there" Lee Hwa said, hearing Jimin giggled on the other side. 

"Yes, I like it her-" suddenly Jimin stoped. Lee Hwa frowned. Why did he stop? Lee Hwa quickly get up from his bed. He put the glass on the table beside him and focused on his son that was on the phone. 

"Honey?" He tried to ask. 

"Ah yes father, may we continue this when I free?" Jimin asked. Lee Hwa frowned again but nonetheless he nodded.
