LEVIANA'S EYES FLUTTERED OPEN as she regained consciousness. She tried to move around, forgetting that her body was filled to the brim with wolf venom and another herb she couldn't identify. Realizing this, she tried to at least move her head. She turned her head in the opposite direction and saw an old bed underneath Rebekah, who was regaining consciousness.
"Rebekah, wake up!" Leviana breathed out. Her idea was to speak loudly, but the wolf venom made what she thought was yelling into a hushed whisper.
As she waited for Rebekah to wake up, she sat up, almost letting out a loud groan that she silenced with her hand. Her vision was blurry, but after a few blinks her vision started to come back to her. She looked around and was in a place she'd hope to never see again.
"No." She whispered.
"Yes!" The familiar voice of Genevieve called out mockingly.
"What the hell do you want you psycho bitch?" Leviana groaned.
"Just for you to relive one of your biggest regrets." Genevieve said nonchalantly.
Leviana tried to snap her neck with a wave of her hand, she looked at her and with furrowed eyebrows. She tried it again, expecting a different result, but she didn't get one.
"Sumac." Genevieve said as she came over with a bowl and a knife.
"You used herbs to suppress my magic." Leviana concluded. "And you filled my sister and I with wolfshane to keep us weak."
"That would be correct." Genevieve said as she grabbed Leviana's arm, took the knife, and drew blood, causing Leviana to wince.
"So what? You want me and Rebekah to relive one of our biggest mistakes?"
Genevieve laughed dramatically. "No. I do want you to relive that mistake, but that wasn't your biggest one." Genevieve used the knife to draw some blood from her finger. "Your biggest mistake was the vow you made so long ago. 'Always and forever'."
But before she could react, she felt a wave of memories hit her.

"That's no good." Leviana said as a man coughed up a small amount of blood in a bucket she was holding. Once he was done, she put the bucket down on the ground next to him, grabbed a bowl filled with herbs crushed herbs and poured them into a cup of water. "Here, drink this." The man took the cup and drank from it.
"Sister!" Rebekah dramatically gasped from behind her. "Using magic in public now, are we?"
"I'm trying to help him! Or, I was, at least until you interrupted me!" Leviana smacked Rebekah's arm playfully.
