┏━━━━━━━━━━┓ chapter forty: the peaceful sloth ┗━━━━━━━━━━┛
"AH, DAVINA. HOW CAN I HELP YOU?" Leviana sighed, looking around the French Quarter for any sign of Finn.
"Look, I know we haven't been on the best of terms lately, but Cami called. Elijah fell and he's not waking up, the same thing is happening to Kol and Klaus." Davina rushed. "I think whatever Finn's doing, he's doing it to you next."
"I think you might be right..." Leviana gasped as she felt a sudden wave of magic hit her. She fought against it so she could turn a corner and avoid any of the locals finding her body. "I'm going to have to call you back." With that, Leviana dropped her phone on the ground as her body fell onto the concrete. The last thing she heard was Davina repeatedly saying her name worriedly.

Leviana opened her eyes and saw she was in what looked like a hovel. She also saw Kol, Elijah and Klaus looking around.
"What is this?" Elijah asked.
"It's a chambre de chasse." Kol and Leviana told them in sync.
"A hunt room." Kol continued. "It's where witches bring their prey for mental target practice."
"Our bodies are in the real world laid on the floor, or concrete, whilst our minds are in here, represented by these... creepy animals." She muttered, narrowing her eyes at the sloth.
"Let me take a wild guess as to who's the author of this nightmare." Klaus muttered. "Finn, show yourself!" He yelled.
"We're in a closed room you don't have to yell. He can hear you, whether he's in here or not." Leviana scolded.
The next thing anyone knew, Finn was walking into the hovel with a hand behind his back. Klaus charged at him, but he froze.
"Save your strength." Finn said. "In here I am untouchable. Make yourselves at home. We're gonna be here for a while."
Finn was in charge of the dream land, but he his mind had to be focused in order to maintain the spell, so if his mind was focusing on pain, the spell would break and they'd go back into their own bodies. So Leviana narrowed her eyes at him to cause a pain infliction spell, only for the spell to go back to her, making her gasp at the sudden pain in her head.
"Did I forget to mention I'm also a magical mirror in here?" Finn chuckled. "Any spell you try to cast on me, it reflects back to you. My magic, my rules."
