TW- BLOOD, SLIGHT GORE

"WELCOME. As is our time-honored tradition, you are all welcome to deliver your offerings. It is our custom that no one should be turned away, no blessing be denied." Genevieve raised her glass and smiled.

Hayley went up to give her gift to Davina, but one of the security guards pulled her back and shook their head. Leviana was prepared to tear off the guard's arm for touching Hayley, but instead of killing them, she decided to go up and give Davina a gift. The guard pulled her back like she did with Hayley, only this time Leviana showed her 'heretic face'. Her eyes glowed green with black veins coming down her entire face. The guard quickly retracted her arm back to her side. Leviana placed the gift near Davina's feet and gave her a wink, causing Davina to smile.

Over the rest of the night, the guards were instructing people to go to the other witches. Leviana chose not to make a scene, but to instead give Davina more gifts later. Apparently, Klaus also took notice of these and decided to make a speech.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, may I have your attention, please. We are gathered here today to pay  homage to our beloved witches, but one very special witch has been utterly ignored. That seems a little unfair to me." He held out a box to Davina, one Leviana recognized.

"No." Davina denied, causing Klaus' face to fall. "I don't want your gift."

"This is going to go splendidly." Leviana whispered to Elijah, who took a deep breath.

"I understand why you would reject me, given our past. In truth, many of us here today have been wronged in the conflict which my brother's treaty ended. Your friend Joan was involved in a plot to kill me. It would be well within my right to execute him.Here and now. But. In the spirit of solidarity, and for your favor, Davina, I hereby pardon him." He turned his full attention to Josh. "Josh... from this day forward, you have nothing to fear from me." He turned back to Davina with the gift held out. "Please. Take it."

Davina hesitantly took the box.

Hayley stormed to Leviana and pulled her away from everyone into an empty room.

"Hayley, what—" Before Leviana could continue, Hayley's hand collided with her face. "What the bloody hell was that for?"

"That was for not telling me about the moonlight rings." She said with a devilish smile.

"Does it make it any better if I told you that I only agreed to the making of the rings was so that I could continue to see you?" Leviana asked with squinted eyes. Hayley tilted her head in confusion, "Nik said if I helped him, he'd lift my punishment and we could... like... talk freely." She explained as she looked down to her feet and fidgeted with her hands.
