Marinette's POV

I woke up, a big yawn plastered on my face. I turned my head to an awkward position to look up at my alarm clock. It was not yet 7. I was 5 minutes early. That's first. The flight was at 10. I turned to a more comfortable position and stared at the alarm clock like a five years' old waiting for his present. I watched the clock move in a circular position. 5 minutes. One full circle. 4 minutes. Just like 4 minutes became 3 minutes and 3 minutes became 2 minutes. 2 minutes became 1 minute. Tikki just stared at me in awe. A Parisian super heroine behaving like a kid. 5,4,3,2,1.

MIRACULOUS! SIMPLY-

I jumped out of my bed excited. We are going to China. I hope I find out who Chat is before he does. Hmm? Who is he?

"Tikki!! Help me here!" I woke Tikki out form her trance. I started rummaging through my clothes, finding for a right one. I excitedly looked through my clothes.

"Wow, Marinette. You are excited. I didn't know you would behave like this. Like a child. You are so excited to rule? To pick clothes?" Tikki asked confused. I sighed as I sat on my chaise.

"I know, Tikki! I am just confused about going. I will leave my friends. The citizen. Those who I love. On the other hand, this will be a whole new experience and I will serve my people. Most importantly, I will be with Chat. As for the clothes, I have to be in my best to have a good reputation to my people and most importantly what if Chat sees me?" I chuckled at the last part. Tikki giggled but it soon turned into a snicker. I heard a knock my door.

"Come in!" I said. My mother came in.

"Good morning, Mari! You woke up early," she chuckled. She then continued. "How about come down and have your breakfast. It is croissants. You can bring some with you if you want. Then, you can go bathe and get dressed. Just be ready by 8.45, ok? How is the plan?" She asked. I just nodded.

"I will come down soon! You go first. Let me get my hair tie. Oh and mom can I have some macaroons too." I smiled at her.

"Sure honey!" She said as she went out the door. I took my hair tie and tied my hair into a somewhat messy bun. I opened my trapdoor and went downstairs. "Good morning, sweetheart," my dad exclaimed. I smiled and lazily ate my breakfast. I finished eating 2 croissants.

"Be down my 8.45!" My mom reminded. I smiled and nodded.

I went up and decided to take a bath. I took a long hot shower and applied my favourite strawberry shampoo. After a nice 20 minutes, I wrapped myself in a bathrobe. I dried my hair with my hairdryer. I decided to make my hair slightly wavy. I used my curler and curled my hair slightly, tying it into half with a red hair tie.

After a while of searching through on what to wear, I chose a mid-knee dress but longer at the back. It was bright red, showing a bit of my cleavage. At the bottom there curly folds giving it a princess look. I am a princess after all. A gold belt finishing the touch. I wore some crimson red heels. I also took a black Gucci bag my father bought for me birthday. I was waiting for the right time to use it and this was it. I applied some dark red lipstick and some mascara to go with it. I also put some dangling red earrings to finish the look. I had my luggages beside me. I was set to go. Just in time too. 8.40! I went down stairs through my trapdoor knowing I couldn't carry the luggage's on my own.

"Maman! Papa!" I called, speed walking down the stairs. I didn't want to ruin my look. I saw my bodyguard downstairs. Same look as yesterday. "Wow honey! You look beautiful, sweetie." My parents praised me.

"I do?" I twirled around. They nodded, excitedly.

"Bob! Can you bring her luggage's down please?" My father said turning to my bodyguard. He just saluted and climbed up to my bed room. I watched him go up until my parents caught my attention.

"Mari! We have a surprise for you!" The gave each other excited knowing looks. I wondered. What is the surprise? "Come! Quick! Go outside. Take a look." They said ushering me outside. I was curious like a cat. This I just say that? Wow! I am becoming more like Chat. I opened the bakery door. There stood the most precious Jem. Just kidding. A limo. A freaking limo. A freaking pink limo with golden lining. A freaking pink limo with golden lining that had my full name engraved on it. Wow. I stared at in awe.

"It is beautiful. Simply divine!" I squealed. My parents chuckled. "Why don't you go in and take a look!" They exclaimed in unison. My bodyguard was already at the back on the car, putting my luggages in it. I opened the limo's knob and went in. Inside looked so much better. There was a mini television. A karaoke station. Snack. Inside was pink too, by the way. Pink! My favourite colour.

I sighed in happiness. Is this what Adrien experience everyday. If I had a limo, I would brag about it. Ok maybe not brag. Adrien is a piece of cinnamon roll, so humble. I stared in awe until I heard a cough. My bodyguard. "We have to go, Princess," he said in his deep tone. "Right," I replied. My parents came out. I ran and hugged them. "Have a safe trip, honey!" They exclaimed. "Ok! I will miss you guys." I said.

My father suddenly remembered something so he went in the house. I looked at him in confusion. He came out with a small box and a pastry box. "Here Marinette. Your croissants and macaroons. And this is a little something we got for you," he said as he gave me both the items. It was a beautiful necklace with a carving Marinette Dupain Cheng.

"It is beautiful! I promise to never remove it," I said as I put it on. They smiled and nodded happily. We hugged each other again as I walked into the limo. I smiled happily, again taking in sight at the beautiful limo.

Before long, I was on my way.
