Rosa shook her head as she watched Mark follow Jisun as the Eis Princess left, knowing that Yuta had a role in it.

When will he learn? Rosa wondered, watching as Grace faked a smile, grabbing Jaehyun's arm as the two continued moving through the guests. Her unhappiness was evident to Rosa, having grown up with her the entire life, but there was nothing any of them could do.

Rosa's eyes continued wandering through the crowd of guests until they landed on a certain male holding a girl's hand.

Meixin's hand.

"Is he out of his mind?" Rosa mumbled as she decided to make her way past the room, to where Ten and Meixin were. The two weren't even trying to hide the fact that they were together, and that bothered Rosa.

There's too many people here. Not to mention that the King and Queen are here for their daughter's engagement party.

Rosa yanked Ten's collar, making the male turn around. "Rosa?"

Meixin had a worried look on her face as Rosa pulled the roots of Ten's hair, separating the two. Ten's eyes instantly darkened but Rosa didn't care, letting her own do the same.

"What are you doing?" Ten hissed, grabbing Rosa's hand that was still attached to him.

"I should be asking you that." Rosa replied, tugging harder. "Do you know where we are right now?"

"In fact I do." Ten told her, motioning to Meixin to step back.

Ten raised his hand and Rosa screamed the second his nails met her flesh, instantly letting go. She grabbed her hand, squeezing it to numb the pain.

The guests were staring at her, Ten placing an arm around Meixin's shoulder to guide her away. Is he really choosing her over me? We're childhood friends.

Rosa was about to chase after him but a hand grabbing onto her stopped her. Rosa was about to shove it off when she met the eyes of Qian Kun.

"You should let him go." Kun said in a soft voice. "If you chase after him, you're only going to cause a scene."

Rosa honestly didn't care about the looks people were giving her but Kun seemed to. She glanced over at Grace, who already seemed stressed as she stood there with a few from the light realms, so she decided to let it go.

"Let go of me." Rosa demanded. Kun looked down, realizing that he was still holding onto her before slowly releasing the girl. Rosa turned away, about to walk away when Kun stopped her.

"Are you going to just leave me like that?" Kun asked. "Not even a hello?"

"Hello." Rosa said dully, her night already ruined from witnessing Ten's recklessness. "There, are you happy?"

Kun let out a deep sigh, his eyes becoming glossy as he stared into hers. "Does Ten really mean that much to you?"

"What do you mean?" Rosa asked, not understanding the question.
