"Megumi!" You called out as you stood up. His hands were by his sides as he spoke, "I'm fine." He reassured and you quickly looked at Mei. "Is no one allowed to touch a women offered to sukuna?" You asked her while trying to remain as calm as possible.

"People are allowed to touch you. Any intimate touches though shall result in that persons death!" She called out with a stern expression and Akira nodded alongside her. That wasn't even a sexual touch?! You pinched the bridge of your nose and sat down. "It wasn't that type of touch. There should be no issue here," You explain and Akira stepped up. "We apologize. It's just an instinct upon seeing someone touch you." She then gazed at Megumi and her cheeks dusted pink. She began to move her thumbs together in a circular motion nervously. She inhaled as if gaining enough courage to speak: "i've seen you around before but I've never seen you up close. So with this being said...are you single?"

Your eyes widened along with Megumi's. If you were drinking water, you were sure you would've spit it out by now. "Pfft- Looks like someone finds you attractive!" You joke with Megumi and he sweat-dropped as he stared down at the short girl. "I'm too old for you." She puffed out her cheeks like a true child and shook her head. "I'm twelve!"

"Yeah, too young." He gazed away and you were still chuckling at the situation. "Ever since we were sixteen, younger girls have been all over you." You placed your elbow on the table and smiled at Megumi. "I have my eyes on something else," he muttered under his breath as his dark eyes gazed at you under his long eye lashes. Even if you didn't exactly know what he meant nor did you want to question it, you couldn't help your face feeling warm. "Right, anyways," you turned away trying to hide that fact that you were blushing for some odd reason. "Your food will be served to you now!" Mei spoke as Akira ran off towards some door and came back out with three plates. Two in her hands and one on her head. She carefully walked over to you and placed down the three plates. "Please enjoy!" She then took a step back and began to admire Megumi as he sat down as well.

"This is strange? I thought I'd be locked up in some cellar by now." You joked and Mei shook her head, "he did that with the girl before the previous one. Every time he changes up methods. While I must admit he's being more generous than usual." Huh, that explains it. You gazed down at the plate full of food. It was nothing compared to the meals you'd cook for your family and Megumi—nor your brothers cooking. Every item on the plate seemed to contain something that was good for a balanced meal. "Is this what it feels like to be royalty?" You mumbled out feeling like you were in heaven.

Well, until you remembered you were technically sold off to some evil man who'd kill you with a flick of his finger without any remorse.

"I'm assuming you stay here often?" You looked at megumi and asked the question. He seemed iffy about answering as he shifted in his seat. "I guess," he cringed out the answer. "I won't ask why, and I won't bother you about it. But thanks for letting me know eventually." You gave a genuine smile before picking up a small slice of bread. But then you stopped. What if it was poisoned? Sukuna did mention beforehand how the other girl thought the same thing and ended up starving to death—

It was a 50/50 chance right? He could've tricked you so you would eat the food and die? So many thoughts began to run in your head. Megumi noticed you were conflicted, so he reached over to one of your plates and plopped a small slice of bread in his mouth. He raised his arms up and shrugged, "taste good to me." You stared at him before smiling and gazing down at the bread in your hand. "Really?" You hummed and took a bite.

It did taste better than the bread in your village.

Whether this was going to be your last meal or not—it was good as hell. So you had no regrets.

You were walking back to your room after dismissing the two girls. You felt relieved that you didn't have to see Sukuna again. Shit, you didn't even know what you had to do as an offering. But you somehow managed to survive the first day. To be truthful, it wasn't as bad as it seemed. Sure the situation was still shitty but it could also be way worse. Based on what the Akria and Mei has told you; things did seem to be worse back then.

With a hefty sigh you slid open the wooden doors—

Only to see Sukuna on your bed.

His head was resting against his hand as his elbow was on the bed. He rested on his left side with his eyes closed. Why was he in your room?! Your body wanted to run away out of instinct; but you knew it was best if you stayed. "Why are you here?" You questioned, not knowing where to go or step. So you stood in the doorway awkwardly. "This entire place belongs to me. I can go wherever," he waved you off but opened his eyes and gave a devious smile. "Unless you have an issue with it?" As if daring you to do anything bold you furrowed your brows. Sure, you'd play an act here to survive—but you refused to be his little play thing! "Well will you be staying here all night?" You asked with your arms crossed and leaning your weight on your left leg. "Is that your way of saying you're ready to complete the ceremony?" He inquired and you felt your face heat up, "no! I said I'd only do it with the man I loved!"

"Stop whining, will you? Besides I don't feel like moving. So make it work." He then shifted his position on the bed as his arms were behind his bed and he laid straight out. His left leg propped up slightly as it was over his right leg. You weren't going to lay on the bed nor did you wanted to stay in this room. Somewhere deep inside your mind, you had a fear that Sukuna would try something while you slept. He murdered whole villages, women, and kids! As if this man had any boundaries! "I'll sleep outside then." You began as you stepped out the door and shut it behind you. You slid down the door and hugged your knees close to your chest. "How stubborn~" you could hear him chuckle from inside the room, "however don't go complaining if you die from a wild curse on the path."

"I can handle myself." You muttered only to hear sukuna scoff, "yeah, keep telling yourself that."

Soon silence took over as the only thing you could hear were the trees moving due to the breeze. It was dark outside but thankfully the moon lit up the surroundings with a beautiful white hue. You had one more day to survive before you could go back to the village and see your family. While you did want to wonder off and sleep somewhere else, it'd be safer by the door just in case you had to run inside your room. You began to feel drowsy as your eyes began to close. You had barley got any sleep beforehand due to worrying about coming to Sukuna's palace. So the missing sleep must've caught up with you. Before you knew it your head felt heavy and your eyes had closed

"Just one more day,"

[behind the scenes!]

"Look! It's a curse!" Akria pointed at the ground as Mei walked over to her. "I don't see a curse—gah, Akria you fool! That's not a curse, that's—" but before she could finish her sentence the bug that Akria mistook for a curse began to fly towards them.

"It's a flying roach, oh shit!" She yelled and began to run for her life. "Don't leave me! Don't leave me!" Akria yelled out as she began to run for her life as well. "And don't curse!" Akira grumbled as she caught up with Mei. "In these situations, we're allowed to!" Mei says and Akria 'ohhh's'

"Shit!"

"Fuck!"

"Squizzle!"

"Is that even a word?" Mei questioned and Akria shrugged, "it is now."

"SQUIZZLE!" Both girls shouted before the roach landed on Akria which caused her to foam at the mouth and pass out.
