"Explain to me why these lowlifes are here, darling." Sukuna said as he stroked your hair. You sat on his lap as you glared at the villagers who bowed in front of the throne. They seemed scared, their bodies trembling upon the sights of your husband. "I'm not fond of those people. Despite the announcement, they treated Mei and I like pigs. Absurd, is it not?" You placed a hand on his chest and he smirked at you. While you were a more passive woman when it came to giving mercy and caring about the lives of others, he always adored it when you actually were upset enough to see another life end. Perhaps he has tainted his little pure wife.

"Is this true?" Sukuna questioned as his softer gaze instantly turned cold as he stared down at the villagers. "We-We're so sorry! We didn't know! Forgive us! We did not know she was the mistress of the great king!" The man placed his hands together as his eyes seemed to tear up. The other villager bowed several times, "forgive us! We did not know she was the queen that resided next to you!"

Sukuna's hand left your hair to rest on your lower back. He gazed towards you; his red pupils locking with yours. This was his way of asking if you had any further issues or thoughts that needed to be addressed. You nodded before looking towards them: "do you believe I'm that selfish? I'm not only upset because of how you treated my companion and I. I've seen the way you treated those poor kids in the alley way. Disgusting. The poor girl asked for a slice of bread—and you had the audacity to kick her away?" You eyed them harshly as you felt anger seep through. Sukuna had allowed you to take control of three different villages in the area. While he still controlled lightloft, it was no matter because you easily chose other villages. You wanted peace and harmony; but people like this were stopping it. Unlike your husband who made the villages fear him for respect, you simply tried to make things work without brute force.

Unfortunately some people just aren't as good as others.

"F-Forgive us, your majesty! Please! The kids...they were tainting my shop! I have a business to run!" He'd yell as sweat was visible on his face. The other villager was just cowering away: ready to accept any fate. "Oh?" You quirked a brow, "people like you who run a business but can't see everyone as potential customers sickens me. If I let you roam around, who knows? You might start kicking more kids. You might even discriminate against someone because of a beautiful feature they have that you do not. I can't allow that, now can I?" You shook your head before speaking one last time, "during my trip to the village, I heard some things about you. Did some investigating and found out it was true." Yeah—this man was horrible. He even sold a kid for a stack of cabbage to sell.

The man seemed on the verge of breaking down. He must've truly been out of his mind as he stood up and placed a hand on his chest, "Don't end such a life so easily! I can change! Truly, this is a foolish decision-"

The man instantly shut up upon realizing what he said. "Foolish?" You repeated before shaking your head. "You're the only thing that's foolish in this entire room. You've let many young kids suffer."

"This is unreasonable!" He yelled out as anger and rage consumed him. "Fuck you and your pathetic attempts to be a fucking hero-!"

"Silence."

Sukuna's deep, commanding and horrifying tone rang out. The man instantly stopped in his tracks. He looked ready to piss himself—while you, unlike him—found Sukuna's change in tone attractive.

You turned to face Sukuna, giving a small smile and another nod. He stood up and gently helped you up as well. You were used to this. Sukuna raised his hand as his index finger went up. You stood next to the throne before turning your head to the side. Yeah..you still weren't used to such a bloody and grotesque scene. "No! Wait-!" All that could be heard was a scream from one man and the sound of a body falling to the floor. Not shortly after you felt Sukuna walk in front of you. "It's over, darling." He'd chuckle before turning your head to face him. You opened your eyes and was greeted with the sight of your husbands handsome tattooed face. "You've been with me for so long, yet you can't handle such a scene," he'd give a small smile as if he thought it was foolish but admiring. You raised your hands to rest on both sides of his face and gave a warm smile, "I'm sorry, my love. I don't think I'll ever really get used to it."
