Consciousness began to drag you out of the darkness, your body leaning against something warm. Opening your eyes; you saw that you were at LightLoft's Memory tree. It was later in the day, the dark oak tree as sturdy as ever—the light green leaves danced in the soft breeze that went by. The dark colored grass was lit up by the blue gems in the ground. A puff of smoke going past your face made you hum in confusion.

How'd you get here?

Being here out of all places felt unusual. Especially since your father forbid you of ever visiting this place. Lightloft's memory tree stood on higher up ground and was by a large body of blue crystal clear water. It was amazing to gaze at but unfortunately you were only allowed to see if from afar.

"You're finally awake?" A deep voice questioned; your eyes looking down only to see a toned arm right next to you. "What the-!" Your eyes widened upon realizing the situation you were in. You were leaning against Sukuna's left arm as you both sat on the grass; sukuna puffing out smoke from the brown pope in his hands. Scooting back quite cartoonishly, you gazed at Sukuna with a bashful yet confused expression. His eyes went over to you before a small smile tugged at his lips, "what? You were the one who leaned against me." How did you even get in this situation? All you remember was helping a women get away from Sukuna and you wake up here! "I'm assuming that you carried me here. While I'm not fond of you, I'll thank you for that. But what exactly happened?"

"You suddenly fainted, which was not only a pain in the ass but brought attention. So I brought you here." Sukuna then stood up and crossed his arms in front of his chest. "You should go ahead and eat something. I don't feel like carrying you back to the palace. So don't faint again," sukuna spoke as if you were a burden to him. Holding in the urge to cuss him out, you quickly change your gaze from sukuna and to the bag of apples on the ground. Since apples were so big at this village you found yourself not being fond of the fruit. But non the less you were starving. Crawling over to the bag you peered inside and grabbed a ripe red apple. You held the fruit in your hands deciding if you were going to thank the curse or not. Well—it's not like he'd get a bag of apples for himself. Well, he probably would. But it made you feel much better thinking that he got them for you. "Thanks," you mumbled lowly after realizing it was best to just thank him and get it over with.

"Say," Sukuna starts as he faces the tree, "ĐØ ɎØɄ ⱤɆ₥Ɇ₥฿ɆⱤ ฿Ɇł₦₲ ⱧɆⱤɆ?" Your eyes widened upon the strange question. The worst thing about this situation is that Sukuna's back was facing you; his robe like outfit moving to the breeze of the wind. You couldn't even see the expression he wore while asking the question. "I've been here only two times in my life. Well—three now." You answer his question with a skeptical look on your face. It bothered you how this man acted like he knew you beforehand. Even when you first met him: there was this look in his eyes. As if you were someone familiar to him.

"I see." Sukuna seemed to have gone in deep thought. Feeling as if simply staring at his back was getting awkward, you decided to take a bite of the apple. It was sweet and filled you up with energy. "How is it?" Sukuna spoke but his voice wasn't far away; instead it was closer than what it should've been. Gazing up, you saw Sukuna staring down at you before he crouched down to your level. "How did you get right next to me..." You questioned as your head was turned in his direction. Both your hands holding onto the Apple. You didn't even hear nor see him walk over to you.

Sukuna simply stared at you before reaching his hand out towards you. Sharp nails softly poked your skin before his finger tips grazed your cheek. Sukuna's hand rested against the side of your face, his touch shockingly gentle. He was staring at you so intensely that you just had to look away. Should you push him back? Not like you'd succeed. Should you question him on the hell he was doing? Not like he'd give a proper answer without mocking you. "Pfft—kehah, haha," you began to hear Sukuna laugh before his laugh became louder and more chaotic. He then harshly gripped your chin and gave a large smile. "Hey-!" You mumbled out as you eyed him; his nails once again digging into your flesh. "You're not even toying with me, huh? You gave me that same damn clueless look beforehand too." He let go of your chin before standing up, "Whatever the case may be, whether your first time here was with that boy who can't do his hair right is non of my concern. It's all about your second time here. You should try and figure that one out. I know you have no memory of that night." Sukuna spoke as his devious smile never went away. Wait-? How did he-

"How did you know I met Megumi here? And how did you know I couldn't remember my second night of coming here?" You questioned with a stern expression. "I knew you two talked here. Didn't think it was your first time meeting him." He began to walk away from the tree ⱧłĐĐɆ₦ ₩ł₮Ⱨ ₴Ɇ₵ⱤɆ₮₴.  Sukuna had completely ignored your second question which caused you to huff.

"Let's go," sukuna raised his hand and motioned for you to go over to him. "You still didn't answer my question. How did you know Megumi and I even spoke here?" You clenched your fist as anger seemed to fill you. Why were you even angry? Everything just didn't make sense anymore. "I think you forgot this place is under my supervision. And careful with what you say," he mused with his hands on his hips. Your eyes trailed to the soft ground below as you stood up with the Apple still in your hands. Maybe you did need to calm down? "Don't agree so easily, go ahead, struggle with holding back your pitiful anger." Sukuna teased as he waited for you to blow up in curses and shoutings;

But you didn't.

You simply stood there and stared. "Eh? Boring." Sukuna clicked his tongue in annoyance before looking up with his hand on his chin. "Perhaps i could find a way to make this interesting? Hm, how about this." He used his right hand to express himself as he talked, "every time you defy me in one way or another, I get to do whatever I want to you."

"That's not fair-!" You spoke in utter shock at his words that seemed to loop around your body and squeeze the air outta' you. "Too bad. It's now a rule. Let's go, I'm hungry." He yawned and placed a hand behind his head as he began to walk away. Reluctantly, you followed after him. While you would love to focus on your hatred for this man, your mind couldn't help but wonder about Megumi. "I wonder where Megumi ran off to," you mumbled out recalling that Megumi was walking with you as well before you passed out. "Its bold of you to talk about another man in front of me," Sukuna chuckled and you felt like rolling your eyes. But you didn't, of course. "He's always off somewhere. I just hope he's okay." In some way you began to spill your worries to the man you were offered to. "Who knows? He may have five secret wives in the village—running back and forth just to not hear them complain." Sukuna spoke and the pure idea of Megumi running back and forth as someone's baby daddy caused you to laugh softly. "What the hell made you think of that!" You found yourself giving into your true laugh, and Sukuna glanced over at you with a small smile before looking ahead once more.

"Plenty of people in the village have more than one wife." Suluna started and you sighed while nodding. "Thankfully they changed it to where you can only have three wives at a time. But not many people do that nowadays! Which is something I can appreciate!" It made your heart warm knowing that there was someone who loved their lover so much that they wouldn't want another. "Some people like to change up." Sukuna shrugs and you scoffed, "of course you outta all people would say that. I bet you'd have twenty wives if you had the chance." You crossed your arms as Sukuna chuckled. "No need to sound so bitter about it. What? Have you finally come to worship me and crave me? Is that jealousy speaking?" Sukuna joked and you made a disgusted face, "You wish."

And surprisingly,

You and Sukuna walked back to the palace while holding decent conversation.

[behind the scenes]

"Have you heard?! Oh my, she was an angel!" The lady you had helped earlier clasped her hands together with a sweet smile on her lips. "Not only are her looks amazing but she has the personality of someone to love forever!" She praised you as if you were a godly being.

"I'm surprised she's alive. Besides, she's not that good looking." A woman of bigger size and short hair spoke, folding the white cloth sheets she had washed.

"I respect your opinion, but you're wrong! Oh! She'll be the savior of the village!" The girl with green eyes praised you once more. A girl around Seventeen walked over to the conversation, "I heard you were talking about (y/n)! It's so obvious that her and the king of curses are in love! I've heard it from the fellow villagers!" The girl giggled as if telling juicy gossip to her best friend. "I never thought in my twenty six years of life that I'd see a women fall in love with that man!" The short haired women spoke before placing the sheets in the wooden hamper she made.

"Oh, Bless (Y/n)!" The women with green eyes and the teenager both said as they held hands and smiled.

And soon rumors began to spread.

I really like sweets. Not only are sweets my favorite thing, but I tend to find myself craving them often.

...

I want a cookie.
