"Yes, I apologize!" You mumbled out as Sukuna pinned you to a large oak tree that was near by. "You have some nerve," he scolded and his grip on your wrists seemed to get tighter. It was too tight. You could feel your circulation going on halt as he squeezed your wrists. Your hands felt like a balloon—light and weightless. You inhaled and let out a small whimper as his nail dug into your right hand.

His annoyed presence seemed to go away as he stared at you for a long time. You felt a warm liquid fall from your right hand, your eyes watching as a crimson liquid fell. "Foolish girl." His voice was low as he leaned towards your hand that bled and licked it. His warm tongue trailed the blood before he pulled back. If you weren't in the situation you were in now—you'd find this attractive. He somehow seemed graceful as he licked the blood and pulled back; his eyes locking with yours once more.

"since you annoyed me, I won't be satisfied until something happens. So.." he gazed at the cloth that laid on the floor until an idea hit him.

"If you really want to escape, then good luck." Sukuna waved goodbye as he went to walk into the village.

While you were tied to the tree by the same cloth that was used to help you out.

Around ten minutes seemed to have gone by. It was hot outside, there were bugs nearby, and here you were—tied to a tree. The cloth went around the tree and wrapped around your stomach; where your arms were by your side and you were firmly kept in place. "Sukuna!" You yelled out as you once again tried to force your way out of the binds. You were failing miserably: and your skin began to ache at how hard you tugged against the cloth. He really was going to make you wait out here and not even be able to see your family over something as stupid as...well, what happened! This stupid curse! You couldn't help but cuss Sukuna out in your mind. "(Y/n)!" You heard your good friend Megumi call out your name. The sound of him running on the dirt path caught your attention as you looked over to him. He was panting heavily as he stopped running and stared at you; his mouth open as he seemed exhausted. "What are you doing here?" You questioned as Megumi then rushed over to you. He summoned his shikigami dog; it's white fur shining in the sun as it bit the cloth and tore it apart.

Your body fell forward and Megumi caught you in his arms. For some reason your body felt weaker than usual, but you decided not to question on why. "Thank you." You whispered and Megumi hugged you tightly. Your hands were on his chest as his arms wrapped around your body in a secure desperate embrace. "H-Hey, I was simply tied to a tree? I'm okay?" You began to worry for your friend's mental health as he hugged you even tighter. Shit, you forgot how strong he truly was. "It's not that. I was simply worried." He refused to admit why he was worried, but it made you concerned on how panicked he seemed. With a content sigh you finally managed to pull away from Megumi. "I don't know what your issue was, but everything is okay. We can talk later," you gave him a warm smile as you cupped his face with both hands. "But right now I really need to hurry and enter LightLoft. If you want to join that's fine, but don't walk on your ankle too much. You're still injured, remember?" You pulled away and turned around ready to go run inside the Village.

But Megumi grabbed your hand.

You turned your head to look at him with a puzzled look. His eyes were widened as he was still breathing a bit heavy. "I-uh," he looked away before removing his hand and coughing nervously. "I'm coming as well."

"Alright! C'mon!" You smiled at him once more before turning around and running inside. Megumi wasn't going to admit that he was in a great deal of pain. He did just run all the way down a mountain and down a trail just to make sure you were okay with an injured ankle. The idea of you screaming in agony as Sukuna attacked you on the trial was living in Megumi's mind rent free, and before he knew it, he was already running from the palace and standing in front of you. At least now he'll be able to protect you if anything were to go wrong.

As you and Megumi walked in the village, you could already see how scared everyone was. People were hiding their wives and children; fruit stands and the market area were trying their best to close quickly. As you walked by Megumi's side, everyone seemed shocked to see you. To see you still standing. Walking. Breathing. Just to see you existing. Somehow just the idea of everyone believing you were dead made your stomach turn and a queasy feeling to pump in your veins. "I know I really want to see my family...but now, I want to see where Sukuna has gone off to. Im afraid he might do something stupid." You grumbled and Megumi hummed. "It's not like he can do anything anyways. While he can be unpredictable at times, he always keeps his words. Especially after making a promise or packed, if you will." Megumi explains and you gazed at him; wanting more answers.

"Ah- well, he promised that as long as he got an offering he wouldn't destroy the village. By saying that, if he were to break that promise—" Megumi couldn't even finish talking until you both heard a scream. With a quick shared look and a nod, you and megumi ran towards the scream. By a small house a lady around 5'2 screamed as she laid on the ground, a young boy in her arms. In front of her stood Sukuna with his arms crossed. What the hell was going on? You swiftly rushed over to the woman and stood in front of her and glared at Sukuna.

"Hm? Didn't think you'd actually break free," sukuna then smirked, "well. I will admit that I'm impressed." He didn't even seem fazed about the lady who cried on the floor as she hugged her child close to her chest. Thinking of all the things he could've done to her made your blood boil. "Why is she crying?" You questioned him with a stern expression. "Why do you care?" He leaned down and got closer to you with that shitty large grin of his before standing up straight once more. "That brat ran into my leg while I was walking. And when I turned around, that pathetic woman was apologizing as she grabbed the child—but began screaming once she saw my face and backed away from me." Sukuna yawned and scratched the back of his head before looking around. "It's not here either," he grumbled but you turned your gaze from him and back to the lady.

Tears were escaping her large white eyes, her green obs seemed to almost shine in the sunlight. You'd expect a woman like her to be laughing and enjoying life. While Sukuna hasn't done anything—you can't blame the woman for panicking after finding out her son bumped into him. The fact that she's shielding him with her body just proves that she thought today was going to be the last day her son lived. Even if this could be seen as an overreaction, you truly felt sorry.

"It's okay, we'll be safe, it's okay," the lady cooed to her son as he sniffled in her arms. Leaning down, you placed your hand on the lady's shoulder. "It's okay. Hurry and run home." You gave a warm smile and the lady actually looked away from her son to gaze at you. But pure confusion was on her face until her eyes locked on your form. "You're alive? Oh, thank the heavens! My, what a blessing it is for you to be his lover!" She then thanked you before standing up and bowing. With a tighter hold on her child, she began to run off.

As you watched her run away, your body began to feel weightless. Your head seemed foggy and you began to see colors dancing around. It was hard to keep your balance as your body swayed. Dryness eloped your throat as if a desert was planted inside. Why did you feel like this? You stumbled back but your right foot stopped you from tumbling over.

Something wasn't right

"Meg-" you turned around to call out Megumi's name, but turning around was a bad idea. Your whole world began to spin and you lost your footing. As if gravity held weights on top of you, your body fell to the ground. Where was Megumi? Before you fell, you caught a glimpse of your surroundings. He was no where to be seen. "What's your issue?" The same deep voice that you learned to despise yet yearn to hear spoke. You didn't answer. You didnt feel like answering. You just wanted to fall asleep—wether you were to wake up again or not. "What a pain." You heard Sukuna grumble before you felt someone lift you up by your clothing. You were dragged up as if you were a lifeless stuffed doll before Sukuna slung you over his right shoulder.

Your eyelids felt heavy.

It was a pain to continue being awake.

Why were you in this situation?

Fuck worrying, all you wanted to do was sleep.

And so you did.

Your eyelids began to close; the last thing you saw was the villagers peering from the windows to get a glance on the situation.

Hm? Why not?

Isn't it obvious?
