Chapter Thirty Nine

Third person pov

It was already morning but Athanese was still sleeping on his bed as he was too tired from everything that happened yesterday. While he was sleeping , his paperwork and letters were piling up in a crazy speed.

*Knock*
*Knock*

Ces knocked politely as she waited for the prince's response. After a few second , a tired complaint could be heard from the room. Athanese slowly opened his eyes and sighed .

" Come in "

Athanese said and glanced at Ces who was carrying a fresh new towel and bath supply's for him

" Good morning , your highness . I will go and prepare your bath "

Ces said as she bowed to greet him and walked towards the bathroom meanwhile Athanese just laid down on the bed while trying not to sleep again.

After a few minutes , Ces came out of the bathroom after preparing everything

" The bath has been prepared , your highness. I will take my leave "

Ces informed as she bowed before leaving and closing the door behind her

* sigh *

Athanese could only sigh as he lazily walked towards the bathroom. While Athanese was taking his bath , he accidentally fell asleep on the bathtub and ended up sleeping for thirty minutes in there until he was woken up by the knock .

Athanese glanced towards the door and quickly cleaned himself . After feeling fresh , he changed his clothes and started walking towards the dinning room to have his breakfast.
He noticed Athanasia was sitting there waiting for him

" Good morning , Athy "

Athanese said with a sweet smile on his face

" Good morning , Athanese "

Athanasia replied with a small smile on her face

" Did you eat ? "

Athanese asked as he took a seat beside her

" No , I was waiting for you "

Athanasia replied with a hint of annoyance

" Sorry about that , I fell asleep while taking bath "

Athanese mumbled as he looked at her feeling bad at the fact that he made her wait

" It's fine now , let's eat "

Athanasia said . While eating their breakfast the royal twins couldn't help but keep on glancing at the head of the dining table. Since the chair was unused both of them couldn't help but feel sad about it.

After they ate their breakfast , they were about to part ways to do their own things but both of them were stopped by Lucas who teleported out of thin air

" Let's talk "

Lucas said and both of the twin looked at him and nodded their head in agreement . The three of them walked towards one of the living room .

" There's no way his condition would worsen so suddenly like that . Something must have interfered "

Lucas said as he kept his hands on his hips and huffed

' That damn Anastacius '

Athanese thought as he clenched his hands feeling frustrated

" But the magicians said there were no traces "

Athanasia replied

" Because they are stupid "

Lucas replied as he took a deep breath and continued
