Chapter 21:

"MIKEY, DON'T GO!" I yelled waking up from a really horrible nightmare.

I was drenched in cold sweat, my chest hurts, feels like I've been shot in the chest, am I having a heart attack?

I was breathing heavily from my sleep, almost like hyperventilating, I feel like I'm dying.

I could not remember what my dream was. What was it about? Why does it hurt?

"Huh?" I said as I tried to recall my nightmare "was my dream about Mikey?" I asked myself, trying to regain my composure.

Why did I scream Mikey's name?

I got a bad feeling about this. I got up from my bed and got freshened up. Mikey told me when I stayed in his place that he's going to announce the new third division captain tonight. 

I'm a very superstitious person, so I feel like my bad dream about Mikey is somehow connected to the new third division captain.

Or I might just be overacting.

"Knock knock!" Mikey said as he entered my apartment. "You don't look so good"

"I'm not feeling well" I lied, I didn't want to tell him about my dream that I don't even remember. 

"Do you want to call in a sick day? You should skip school and rest" Mikey said as he came closer and placed his palm over my forehead to feel my temperature.

I felt flustered with how close Mikey was to me so I stepped back and looked away. 

He gave me a confused look, I wasn't like this before, why am I feeling embarrassed around Mikey?

"Your face is all red," He told me.

"I'm not!" I retorted, he just kept staring at me, confused.

"You're acting weirder than usual," He said as he headed to my fridge and searched for food.

"Anyways, about this new captain" I started off as I sat down at the dining table, he sat down in front of me, eating. "aren't you going to ask my opinion on this person? I don't even know who it is yet" I told him.

"I want to make this decision without my advisor's help, I'm sure the new captain will help us win over Valhalla," Mikey said taking a bite out of his sandwich.

"He's really that strong? I asked, and he nodded in response.

"I need you to pick me up tonight before the meeting," Mikey said with a cheeky smile "Ken-chin, Takemitchy and I are going to a public bath to relax"

"Just take your babu with you" I told him "Besides, my bike is at the shop right now"

"Then use my babu," He said tossing me the keys to his bike. I was so confused, He never let anyone drive his precious bike. He barely even uses it because he wanted to maintain it well.
