Chapter 85:

Wakasa Imaushi, I have never heard of him before, but then again Shinichiro never mentioned names when he told us stories when he was in the Black Dragons. I just met Akashi because he visits the shop often.

"So you're Shinichiro's friend, huh? Aren't you a little too young to be his friend? You're about the same age as his brother" Wakasa pointed out.

"I used to get my bike fixed at his shop." I lied.

"Oh cool," He said bluntly, "Since you're Shinichiro's friend, you're my friend now too, What's you're name?"

I can't use any of my names!

"Haru" I blurted out of nowhere, I then glanced around the cemetery to find a random last name I could use "Ishikawa Haru"

"Well then, nice to meet you Haru-kun," He said, still with that dull expression on his face. "Shin was a great guy, he really made a huge impact in people's lives"

"He was a hero to me," I told him as I headed towards the grave and lit up some incense, then placed it on the Sano family grave.

"He was to a lot of us, especially to delinquents in my generation," He said, this Wakasa person is kind of nice, I haven't had a decent conversation like this in a while. "I'm glad he also made a huge impact on the next generation, he was a legend,"

"If he was still alive, do you think things would have been different?" I asked absentmindedly,

"Different?" Wakasa asked, confused.

"I mean, gangs today are walking through the path of darkness, it wasn't like this back then," I told him, "Things were simpler back then, it was fun,"

"You're in a gang?" He asked, I then realize I spoke too much.

"No!" I told him, he looked at me suspiciously, shit. "I wanted to be in one, I looked up to so many gangs, one of them of course was the Black Dragons"

There was a moment of silence, he just stared at me.

"Then someone in today's generation has to change it," He said, "It could be you,"

I will change this generation, but I'll do it in my own way.

"I'm not the hero and I'll never be the hero," I told him, he raised his eyebrow at me, "I'm the villain of this story,"

"Didn't you say you hate delinquents who walk through the path of darkness? You can't be the villain if you don't head in that direction" He pointed out, I've walked that path over a year ago, and I can't turn back even if I wanted to. "No one is a villain if they have good intentions,"

If only everyone thinks like him,

"Thank you, I feel a lot better," I told him as I got up from my squatting position in front of Shinichiro and Emma's grave, and bowed thankfully at Wakasa.

"We should talk more sometime," He said, I smiled and nodded.

I bid farewell to Wakasa Imaushi and headed back to the hideout, where of course, I was greeted by an angry Ryuuji.

"I said 7!" He nagged, "What time is it?"

"7:12" I answered as I checked the time on my phone. "Take a chill pill, it's only 12 minutes,"

"That's beside the point!" He told me,

...

A few months have passed and I've been seeing Wakasa every now and then, I've been visiting Shinichiro and Emma a lot now because I liked talking to Wakasa. Don't get me wrong, I'm not romantically interested in him in any way, I still love Mikey, but he's a lot like Shinichiro in a way. It's nice to talk to someone who would sincerely listen and understand you.
