The two individuals leaned in, lips apart from each other... The girl bit her lips in excitement as the story reached its climax-

Tap! Tap!

The girl let out a sigh, getting off her bed, already strolling towards her nearest window, opening it carelessly before jumping back into bed.

"You really need to stop bothering me when I have my reading sessions." she warned, exiting the application and turning her phone off.

The boy who entered her room only grinned sheepishly, sitting across her, who was busy rummaging underneath her bed for a first-aid kit. He glanced around the room, still fascinated how she managed to keep it clean when his room would have been a hectic mess in just few minutes. It was his second time visiting and he found it comforting that she allowed him to.

Noticing how the boy was eyeing her room, she slapped on his bruised arm as a warning to not stray off from the real world, earning a yelp from him. She gave him a sarcastic smile when he whined about his painful state.

"What did you do this time?" she asked, taking his bruised and blood-splotched arm in her hold.

He leaned his head against his free arm, pretending to think but after seeing the girl shot him a glare, he waved it off nonchalantly.

"I broke up with her and then her fuck boy started chasing me with his minions. Seriously, what's up with that? She cheated on me then I got some beating?" he groaned when she had pressed on his wounds hard.

"Like I believe that... You must have done something." she eyed him momentarily with a sceptical look.

He broke out into a smile, "Wow... You read me like an open book."

She rolled her eyes, turning her attention back to his arm, hiding the blush that started creeping onto her cheeks. Jisung let out a small chuckle, playing with her earring using his free hand to which she didn't bother to swat away, knowing him too damn well that he would pester her more if she actually did.

"Yeah, you're right. Who am I kidding? I punctured his tires and smashed his windshield."

A slap on his shoulder immediately launched and he winced at the harsh touch.

"You're fucking dumb." she deadpanned.

He only propped his head using his free hand, smiling widely as if he made the greatest achievement, "I know."

She shook her head at his nonchalance and finished off his right arm's treatment. Before Jisung could annoy her further, she grabbed a hold of his face in a rather quick manner, catching him off guard. Nearing her face towards his, he backed away slightly, alarmed. She didn't back off from the fight and held him firmly in place.

"I'm not trying to kiss you. Your face is busted up."

He scoffed lamely, failing badly at hiding his flustered self, "I know that."

She snickered, putting some ointment on his busted lip, "Sure, honey. Never thought I would make you flustered."

Blood rushed to his ears at her statement that he denied aggressively. Shushing his loud mouth, silence evolved around the room and she started to get uneasy at the quietness, their face proximity and how his eyes were on hers.

Okay, maybe I should have just let him babble...

"Hey, I never get to ask this... What is your eye colour?" he suddenly asked, breaking the uncomfortable silence.

She stopped midway her application of ointment, looking at him as if he was stupid.

"You can see my eyes right here, sweetie..." she scoffed.
