Christmas Special #6 [Felix]

She was very happy that morning, excited for the awaited night. It was the winter formal event that was going to be held in school that night.

She already bought a suiting dress, her hair accessory and matching shoes with the colour of her hair, the classic black. She kept her outfit a secret from her boyfriend to gain some reactions from him.

To make the game fair, he decided to not show the girl his suit and what hairstyle he was trying on and she finally got the pain he was going through.

It was the first time their school decided to held an event that special and the two wouldn't miss it for the world.

A frown etched on her face as she glanced outside the window. It was snowing quite heavily outside with the fallen snow started to pile up against the streets, roofs and pretty much everywhere. She was getting worried for the beckoning disaster that might happen with it.

The event started at 7 but with the snow kept falling from the grey sky, she was afraid that on their way to school might be impossible.

It was already 25 minutes past 5 and the weather was not getting any better. The room started to get colder and she shivered at the goosebumps forming at her skin. Lighting up the fireplace to emit some warmth to the room, she decided to step inside the bathroom for a hot shower to kill time for the room to warm up.

Let's just get ready...

By the time she finished showering, it was already 6 in the evening and it was the planned time to slip on her dress. Taking her dress out of the closet, she looked at it with sparkling eyes, excited to be wearing it.

It was a long-sleeved, royal blue knee-length dress which covers her legs just right to prevent the cold from getting in, with the lace over the dress' material, it offers a good amount of warmth, and a slight cutting to the back, exposing little skin. It was love at first sight when she first saw it. She loved how the dress felt against her body and how it made her look extra cute.

After wearing the said dress, she focused on her nest of a hair that needed desperate attention. Brushing her hair to kept it neat, braiding some section of it, she then slipped on the hair accessory which was a gold plated flower hairpin. A great colour contrast with her dark hair.

Applying some light make up on, not cakey nor too simple, she finished the look off with some coral coloured lipgloss. Happy with how her look turned out, she then went downstairs, to the living room, waiting for Felix's arrival.

Her eyes shifted to the clock quickly to see the time, 6:27 p.m.

It was still snowing heavily outside...

Just as she turned her phone on to check the class' groupchat, a new message came forward and she slumped at the couch in pure disappointment.

Miss Lee: I'm sorry to inform you guys that we have to cancel at the last minute. There's an avalanche near the school and the road was block. The weather was also not permitting us. :(

A few sad texts followed after the announcement and she sighed, turning her phone off as she looked at her reflection in the mirror across her.

I wasted my time for nothing..?

About to call Felix, an incessant knocking on the door startled her and she quickly peek through the peephole and let out a gasp as she opened the door for the person.

He slipped inside and she shut the door behind before the cold air could enter fully inside the space.

Before her was Felix, her beloved boyfriend whose snow-covered hair was swept in a style which she remembered to be called, Sexy Pompadour.
