A/N: inspired by 'Gone Away' unveil video and the music itself. Jisung and Seungmin are also included inside this story. So this is more like... Jeongin, Jisung and Seungmin's story? It took me 6 days to finally finish this, spent hours on it... And I'm sure there might be typos somewhere which will be discovered later once I publish this... Sorry in advance... Anyways, thank you for reading and thank you for 1K reads! 🌹

Bright. Her smile was bright like the sun, shining amidst of a group of people. Her smile was what grabbed his attention on their first meeting when she tumbled a soft apology after accidentally bumping to him, making the coffee stained his shirt. He waved it off, clearly smitten by her nervous yet enchanting smile. She did offer to pay for the damage but he declined politely, since he didn't care too much and he was running late that day.

After that first encounter, his mind constantly wandering off to the thought of her smile, her obsidian-coloured eyes and-

"Yang Jeongin!"

He snapped back into reality, meeting his friends' worried looks. He gave them a sheepish smile, in hopes for them to let him off the hook but that was not the case.

"Don't you dare trying to get out of it by smiling. C'mon, what's been bothering you these days?" his tall friend asked, crossing his arms, waiting for an explanation.

Before he could talk to lie, his other friend interrupts, "And no lying, we know when you are lying."

He sighed, finally giving in and spilling whatever he has on his mind and silence evolved around them before loud cheers filled the air as he was engulfed into a hug by his two older friends.

"He's growing up so much." Jisung faked a cry.

Seungmin nodded in agreement, ruffling the younger's hair, earning an annoyed groan.

"This is why I don't want to tell you."

They only laughed at his comment before it ceased as their eyes landed on someone familiar. Jeongin, oblivious of who they're looking at, followed to the direction they're looking at. His eyes widened as he recognized the person.

"That's her." he whispered, underneath his breath but to his dismay, his two friends heard it too.

"You too?!" they yelled in unison.

Putting both his hands over the two loudmouths, he shushed them quickly before any attention was on them.

"What do you mean by that?" he questioned, his mouth getting dry.

He has the feeling, he knew what it might just be but he refused to acknowledge the thought.

The two exchanged glances before scratching the back of their necks awkwardly.

"We like her too." Jisung finally answered and then silence resurfaced as the news dawned at him.

**********

"So, she goes to our school too?" the younger boy asked, sipping on his lemonade.

They both nodded at his question. That's weird... I've never seen her before.

"She's in our art department. She rarely goes out once she focuses on her drawing." Seungmin explained, seeing how confused his younger friend was.

Oh...

Jeongin was in the music department, which was on the other side of the building, far off from his friends. The only time they got to meet was during lunch time. Now that the new information registered in his head, he couldn't help but to envy that they got the opportunity to see her at least once a day.
