[Hatred? No.]

Jisung was the last to arrive and he panickedly run through the hallways, towards the elevator but luck was not on his side as there was a huge 'Out of order' sign sticked onto the door.

Eyes casting towards the door which lead to the staircase, he sighed and started running up the flight of stairs.

*********

Hand knocking on the door tiredly, a happy Chan opened the door as he greeted the boy and invite him in.

"I'm so-" he paused, taking a deep breath.

"Sorry for being late. The elevator is not working and there's a traffic jam." he continued.

The older boy pat him on the shoulder, reassuring him it was fine and told him to rest on the couch.

He did as told and lie down. His eyes scanned the area with the new faces as well with the familiar ones. He spotted some of them with their girlfriends and the others were in the kitchen, helping themselves with food.

Glancing around amongst the strangers, he didn't see her.

Tugging Seungmin's arm who passed by him, the boy gave him a questioning look.

"Yes, Jisung?"

"Do you perhaps... Nevermind."

Seungmin's lips curved into a smug smile as if knowing what the boy was trying to ask.

"Oh your nemesis? She's at the balcony. But, I suggest you leave her alone, she looked upset about something." he informed.

Jisung frowned at the usage of word, he never really treat the girl like that.

"Why? What's wrong?" he asked.

The latter's eyes glint with mischievous at the questions thrown. A laugh escaped his lips.

"Oh? Are you worried?"

Jisung sat up and waved it off, excusing himself, tired of the unanswered questions.

"I'll find the answers myself."

With that, he left the boy behind and went towards the balcony area. Sliding the door open and then there she was leaning against the railing, looking down at the view of light snowflakes falling.

Knocking on the glass door, he put on a small smile.

"Hey."

Without glancing back, she let out a tired 'hey'. Closing the door behind him, he stood beside her, maintaning some distance. Her vibe was different from before, no harsh comments towards him as she kept quiet.

"Erin, are you okay?" he asked after a moment of silence.

She let out an unamused laugh, "You're right about me and him. We ended things just now." she said, kinda answering his question.

He kept quiet as she boredly stare into the distance.

"Getting dump on Christmas, what a new experience of mine..." she chuckled bitterly.

Jisung blinked rapidly trying to think of anything to say. He felt bad with what he told her a few weeks ago.

He doesn't really care about you. He's just all talk and later dump you because he realized he never like you more than a friend.

Harsh words were out and the two didn't exchange any words with each other until that day.

He didn't expect it to actually happen. What he blurted out that time was just due to his anger and jealousy.
