This movie shows the innocence and tenderness of first love, it was amazing to watch these two teenagers grow together in friendship and love.
I loved how Claudia and Grace's personalities complimented each other, the way Grace showed Claudia that there's more to the world other than the things her mother taught her.
Most part of the movie filled with softness and fluff that melted my usually cold heart. Even the scenes of trauma and grief were not explicitly graphic but still left their emotional impact.
I also loved that their first time was treated exactly how it was supposed to be, awkward and embarassing but filled with care and tenderness.
The ending was bittersweet to me and almost made me cry. Even as they held each other close you know that like all other things this sweet summer of love was also coming to end.
