Whenever I try searching for a sapphic movie it's always some angsty tragedy or cheesy romcom with almost no plot, of course, there's nothing wrong with it but we do need some variety and THIS is the variety I have been waiting for. I mean a bunch of lesbian losers with no rizz starting a fight club so they would get girls?? Count me in.
It's so genius, the writing, the characters!!! I have watched three Rachel Sennott films till now, and all of them have given me so much second-hand embarrassment, I FUCKING LOVE IT. This is definitely one of the best feminist satires I have watched, I don't think I can put into words how much awesome this is.
Of course, I love the main characters for being the awkward horny losers they are but my favourite characters were definitely Hazel and Isabel, they are so fucking pretty. Especially Hazel being the goofy and silly little lesbian making bombs and blowing up shit.
So this has lesbians beating up a bunch of macho douchebags, blood, bombs, girls kissing girls and getting a happy ending AND a blooper reel at the end!!!, safe to say I think we have reached peak cinema.
