True. He said it. In Suryaputra Karn he did say it.

Kuch bhi !?

Before debunking this, one needs to understand what Sudarshan Chakra is.

The terrible and fearsome weapon is the embodiment of Narayan's Kundalini Shakti, the invincible power that lies base in one's spine.

Narayan is one of the the Tridev, and you can understand how much Kundalini Shakti he has, and how strong this disc of auspicious vision is.

Now back to this post which is wrong in so many ways.

1) Krishna never considered Karn as Arjun's equal.

(Bori CE, Tirth-yatra parva chapter 386(89), this was said by Shri Krishna to Yuddhishtir)

And not only Krishna but Mahadev also.

(Kairata parva, chapter 338(41), Mahadev himself said there is no one equal to Arjun)

2) Arjun was Rishi Nar in previous life, who along with Rishi Narayan (Krishna) with bare hands broke 999 armours of Dambhod bhava (Karn)

So the question will arise that one needs the Tapobal of 1000 years as per Suryadev's boon.

But again, there is no boon, no curse that can't be proven false by Bhagwaan Shri Krishna for the upholding of Dharma. There is no armour that can't be broken by Sudarshan Chakra.

Krishna once said to Ashwathama that he can give his Sudarshan Chakra, his wives and children to Arjun, if Dhananjay asked.

And Krishna again casually offered Arjun to use his Sudarshan Chakra to kill Karn, to end the battle quickly.

मया विसृष्टेन सुदर्शनेन।

छिन्ध्यस्य मूर्धानमरेः प्रसह्य ।।

(Karna parva chapter 65, Bori CE)

Meaning - Putting forth thy might, strike off the head of that foe of thine with this Sudarsana, of edge keen as a razor, that I give unto thee, like Sakra striking off the head of his foe Namuci, with the thunderbolt. That patience with which thou didst gratified the illustrious deity Mahadeva in the guise of a hunter, summoning that patience once again, O hero, slay the Suta's son with all his followers.

You know what this means ???

That Arjun was capable of wielding Sudarshan Chakra ! But how ?

Cause he's freaking Rishi Nar, incarnation of Narayan himself !

Hence with or without the armor, Arjun could've defeated Karn.
