Yuddhishtir is easily one of most misunderstood character of Mahabharat. People love to call him a gambler, but Yuddhishtir was so much more than that.

He was the eldest among Pandavas, always acted like it, never backed away from his responsibilities towards family and kingdom.

After the death of Pandu, he became a father figure to his brothers, support of his mother Kunti. He loved all his brothers equally, never discriminated amongst Kaunteyas and Madreyas.

Nakul and Sehdev lost both their parents but Yuddhishtir and Kunti never made them feel their absence.

Reaching Hastinapoor, we all know how Kauravas treated the Pandavas, but Yuddhishtir never kept grudge against anyone.

Dhritrashtra never loved Pandavas as their own but the Pandavas loved and respected Dhritrashtra more than their own father. Why ? Because Yuddhishtir was their mentor.

During their gurukul days, Arjun and Yuddhishtir were the most sincere ones, and during this time it became quite clear who would be fit for becoming the ruler of Hastinapoor.

Yuddhishtir was such a pure and righteous soul that the wheels of his rath never touched the ground.

When he becomes the King of Indraprasth, he seems to be the best, when he becomes Samrat of Aryavart, its golden age for people.

Then comes the awful day of Dyut Sabha, where Yuddhishtir stakes everything and everyone.

Although it is said there are no white or black characters in Mahabharat but before the Dyut part, Yuddhishtir was a white character.

But in Dyut Sabha, he becomes grey, what he did is not justifiable, it can only be condemned.

But don't make opinions on Yuddhishtir just because of Dyut sabha. No one knows what was going on in his mind after loosing his kingdoms and brothers whom he raised like his own children.

You only think, if Yuddhishtir really was as bad as some think, would Krishna choose him to be Samrat of Aryavart ?

Krishna who in Ram avatar became Chakravartin Samrat, would have had very high standards for who should pick up where Shri Ram left off.

Throughout the tale from starting to end Krishna always wanted Yuddhishtir and only Yuddhishtir to become Samrat.

You only think that after Kurukshetra war, Krishna could've chosen Arjun to become King as Dhananjay received the entire Brahmagyan ! But he didn't.

This shows that according to Krishna, no one except Yuddhishtir was worthy of becoming Samrat.

And those who hate/abuse him, do one thing honestly.

Count your sins and ask yourself -

Are you righteous enough to judge Dharmraj Yuddhishtir ?

A/N

FUN FACT - THE CORONATION OF YUDDHISHTIR IS CONSIDERED TO BE MORE GRAND THAN THAT OF SHRI RAM BECAUSE, IN THE LATTER GOD HIMSELF BECAME THE KING AND IN THE FORMER GOD HIMSELF INCARNATED TO CORONATE THE KING.

Toh dekho I have a myth buster series and Kuch bhi !? Pretty similar concepts but there is difference.

In Myth-busters I just simply prove whether some thing is right or wrong by giving you facts, I don't give my opinions.

And in Kuch bhi !? series, hum mariyada laangh ke dho dalenge sabhi murkho ko. Koi laaj sharam nahi rakhenge.
