Very often we try to know what actually happened in the Mahabharat. All of us here are aware that only one way to know that is through authentic books.
We cannot get our hands on BORI CE or KMG. Only their pdf versions are available to us. And we all know how painful it is to read from pdf.
Besides this, these are very long texts with very difficult language. The translated versions of BORI CE, KMG or GEETA PRESS are very hard to comprehend. Thus many times we misinterpret it.
But some days ago I came across this book titled - Mahabharat Unravelled by Ami Ganatra.

This book is based on the Mahabharat Trinity ie GEETA PRESS, BORI CE and KMG.

I ordered this book from Amazon for only Rs. 509.
Yesterday it came and till now I have read around 80 pages. And it is so good !
Everything is explained in such easy language and as it is based on GEETA PRESS, BORI CE and KMG, it is definitely very accurate.
Many more concepts like Niyog, yagyas, Srimad Bhagwat puran, Sutas, Nishads are also in the chapters. There is also a family tree, from Prachetas to Janmajaya's sons.
The kingdoms that participated, the warriors that participated, the digvijay yatra of Pandavas, what all Kingdoms they conquered etc. Everything is mentioned.

Best thing about the author is that she believes Mahabharat and Ramayan happened, she refers to them as Itihas.
Reading this I got to know so many facts and so many new things. This book is truly amazing. I think we all should have it.
The author Ami Ganatra is outstanding, I had seen her interview with Vaad. She discussed Mahabharat with so much enthusiasm, it's truly heart warming.
Just see the above interview, she explains the events of Mahabharat and it's characters very nicely and accurately. The interview is very informational.
This book Mahabharat Unravelled can definitely be referred for accuracy as it is based on Mahabharat Trinity - GEETA PRESS, BORI CE AND KMG.
I recommend this book to everyone 100/10. We need books like this and authors like her.

Ami Ganatra is way better than that so called 'Mythologist' Devdutt Pattnaik, coming from someone who has read his works also.
