"Ahem,let's begin with a basic explanation of the class trial! So, your votes will determine the results. If you can figure out "whodunnit" then only they will receive punishment. But if you pick the wrong one... then I'll punish everyone *besides* the blackened, and the one that deceived everyone else will graduate!" Monokuma explained, clapping his paws together.
"So...this is really it. The class trial," Lloyd said, folding his arms.
"Umm before we start, can I ask a question?" Kazuichi asked, scratching his chin.
"Sure thing! Make it quick though," Monokuma said.
"Just what the hell is that?" Kazuichi pointed next to him.

"Ooh, I was waiting for someone to notice. It would be rude if we just left Link out because he's dead. So I decided to place a portrait of him there," Monokuma explained.

"I also have a question," Annabeth raised her hand.
Monokuma groaned, "Make it quick."
"Why are there two empty spaces next to me?" Annabeth asked.
"Well this trial room was designed for eighteen students but only sixteen are here. I don't know where the other two are," Monokuma explained.
