I decided to wander around to see what I can do when I noticed that Ed was in the library with the cats.
How did he walked from where he was to the library?
Anyway, I entered in and sat across from him.
"What is it now Tommy?" Ed asked.
"What? I can't hang out with you? That's harsh," I said.
"I never said that. I just wanted to know what do you want," Ed sighed.
Hang out with Ed?
[Yes] No
You decided to hang out with Ed!
"To hang out. Plain and simple," I said.
"Well I guess I have time. What do you want to do?" Ed asked.
"Books," I went over to a shelf and grabbed some at random.
Ed and I began to talk about the random books and even some books that we read previously.
Ed reads a lot of textbooks, usually to study for something.
I guess being an alchemist, you'll need to do a lot of studying.
"Hey Ed. What prompted you to become an alchemist?" I asked suddenly.
Nega and Posi looked at him as Ed took a moment to think.
...
"At first, it was just for fun. My...my father left some notes behind before leaving home so my brother and I picked it up rather quickly. With my mom's encouragement, the two of us were determined to continue on with alchemy. Until her death," he explained.
"Oh...Ed, I'm so sor-," I started but he cut me off.
"Don't. I know you are and I appreciate it but it's doesn't help. Well it doesn't help with me, it may help with others. Anyway, events happened and at 12 years old, I got my State Alchemist license. Here's the pocket watch to prove it," Ed held up a silver pocket watch.
"Wait at 12?!"
"Yep. Thanks for this chat Tommy. Really needed to get that off my chest. See you," Ed left with the cats following him.
I feel like Ed and I grew closer.
Looking at the cats made me think of someone.
I left the library and went looking for her.
Where can she be? I wondered.
In the garden, I found her.
"Leafpool!" I exclaimed.
"Oh hey Tommy," Leafpool purred.
She was sitting by a bunch of plants and it looked like she was attending them.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"Watching over the plants. Do you need anything?" She asked.
Hang out with Leafpool?
[Yes] No
You decided to hang out with Leafpool!
"I just wanted to hang out. Nothing much," I explained.
Leafpool purred at this.
I asked her about the plants and she assured me that they were some kind of medical plants for cats.
