"What the hell was that?" I asked after everyone was silent.
"An execution of course! What else?" Monokuma asked.
"Not the execution. Who was that?" I asked.
"Mami was the one who got executed...right?" Hibiki asked, frightened.
"Yep but it's a lot more complicated than that," Monokuma explained.
"The hell do you mean by that?" Ed snapped.
Monokuma brought out a piece of paper and gave it to Ed.

"Wh-what?" Ed's eyes widen as he read through it.
"We didn't just...we didn't just send an innocent kid to their death did we?" Minami asked, her eyes filled with horror.
"So Mami was really with young girl named Yu?" Leafpool asked.
"Yes and yes!" Monokuma looked happy.
That f*cking b*sterd!
"You...YOU SICK B*STERD!!" Ed shouted.
He crumpled up the paper.
"How dare you!! First Ash and now Mami! Why would you send little kids to their deaths?!" Ed yelled.
"Well you are an expert of sending little kids to their deaths. Remember Nina?" Monokuma asked.
Ed looked like he was ready to kill right there and then.
If he attacks Monokuma...then what happens?
I don't want to know what happens! I have to stop him before anyone gets hurt.
"Ed!" I got in front of him and Monokuma, arms spread apart.
"Out of my way Tommy!" Ed snapped.
"No."
"Get out of my way," Ed raised his fist.
"I won't let you! The rules say that you can't attack Monokuma. I don't know what happens if you attack him but knowing Monokuma, it's nothing good. I'm not letting you risk your life!" I shouted.
"You're risking your own life by standing right in front of me!" Ed shouted.
I grabbed the wrist of his raised fist and lowered it.
"Don't...just don't...," I said, my voice lowering at an almost whisper.
"..."
Ed looked at me directly and the anger in his eyes went away.
"..."
"Fine," I let go of his wrist and he walked away.
"Well that was turn of events!" Monokuma said.
"Shut up! Just shut up!" Isabelle yelled.
"Come on guys. Let's go," Kazuichi said.
We all went to the elevator and Mami's cats followed us.
We might ask them questions later I guess.
(Ed's PoV)
As I went to my dorm, there was something that was bothering me.
I let my anger get the best of me. It was that damn Monokuma.
He reminded me of my lowest point...not being able to save Nina.
Now another little girl has died because of my inability.
I'm really sorry Mami...or Yu I guess. I couldn't save you. I couldn't stop you. I know what it's like to lose someone close to you. I could have helped you more but I didn't. I'm sorry, I thought.
Tommy's face flashed in my mind and my shoulders sank.
He stopped me from attacking Monokuma. We don't know what happens if we attack him and yet...
His face...those frightened eyes.
He just saw someone die. Like everyone here, Tommy has seen death up close.
If I attacked Monokuma, I could have died if that's the punishment for breaking the 'No attacking Monokuma' rule.
In a way, I guess he saved my life.
I'll apologize to him tomorrow. We all need some time to ourselves after what we just saw.
