Hermione was my best friend and I was hers
Yet an noticed by the other we both had major crushes on each other

We were chilling in our dorm, our dorm mates were out so it was just us

" do you wanna go to the library" she asked classic mione always wants to go to the library, but I'm a secret book worm so I didn't care

" sure, got nothing better to do"

" don't lie you love it"

I rolled my eyes a took her hand she offered to help me up off the floor and we left for the library.

Madam prince welcomed us and we chose a table near the back of the library to sit. Mainly because this was hermione's favourite place to sit And I love seeing her smile.

We had been reading for awhile when hermione suddenly spoke

" y/n"

" what's up love"

" uh um can I tell you something"

" of course mione you can tell me anything"

" uh I like you a lot"

" we're best friends I'd hope so"

Her face palled I giggled and put my book down grabbing her hand

" I'm kidding I like you too, you wanna go to hogsmeade Saturday as a date"

Her face was littered with a light blush

" of course I'd enjoy that" she smiled and went back to her book

That weekend we went to hogsmeade and had the best time. The best part of the day is when we're laying in my bed cuddling and she thought I had fallen asleep

" thank you for today y/n I had so much fun"

She then placed a gentle kiss on my lips and settled back into her spot

" I'm glad you had fun"

I felt her jump And I burst out laughing

" I thought you were asleep" she said burying her head in my chest

" I wanted to see what you would do, can you kiss me again so I can enjoy it"

She lifted her head up and kissed me again happily

From that day forward I got to date my best friend, Filled with beauty and the brains.
