Double Trouble

(Y/n)'s POV

Lloyd is standing in the middle of the dojo with a light bulb. Jay is trying to teach him how to turn it on using electricity.

"Focus, Lloyd. Control the power inside you. When you feel a surge welling up..." Jay tells him,"Harness it."

"I understand." Lloyd says, closing his eyes, "I am in control..."

Lloyd's grip on the bulb tightens as he tries to focus more on his power.

"Come on, Lloyd. You can do it." Jay encourages.

The inside of the light bulb suddenly fills with a dark cloud, then it explodes.

"Agh! Stupid light bulb! You're putting to much pressure on me. Let me have one more try." Lloyd demands.

"Sorry, Lloyd, that was last light bulb." Kai tells him.

On the floor, there are multiple broken light bulbs, some with what looks like black silk flowing out of them.

Cole hands Lloyd a broom,"Clean up, Lloyd. We'll continue training tomorrow."

Lloyd takes the broom and instead of cleaning, he uses it as a weapon on a punching bag.

Jay sighs, "What am I doing wrong, Sensei Wu? I can't seem to teach him to control his power."

We look back at Lloyd who accidentally hits himself with the broom in his hand.

"You dare to defy the Green Ninja!" He yells.

'Oh geez, he's acting like me when I was his age.'

"Only difference is that he doesn't think he's better than everyone."

'Shut up, Senka.'

"Patience, Jay." Uncle Wu tells him, "Sometimes the greatest opponent we face is ourselves. And that's especially true of Lloyd. Remember where he came from. He's the son of Lord Garmadon. It's going to take time for him to embrace the light. Just like it took time for (Y/n)."

My head snaps towards Uncle Wu and I the ninja look at me confused.

"What do you mean, Sensei?" Cole asks, "I thought she was raised by you."

"Yes, but first, she attended Darkly's Boarding School like her brother." Uncle Wu says, "It took her quite a while to learn the meaning of good."

"Uncle!" I whine, "Come on, I wasn't that bad!"

"Is that so? The criminal record you gained when you were little says otherwise." Uncle Wu states as he strokes his beard.

"I am not surprised." Kai says, earning a punch to the shoulder from me.

"Hey, my Darkly School days were great. I'm just happy they changed things up after I left. That place used to be a lot more dangerous." I tell them.

"Hey, guys." Nya says as she walks over to Jay.

"Nu-Uh." Cole states, pulling me over to Zane and Kai, "I want to know more about little (Y/n) Garmadon."

I narrow my eyes at them, "I swear if you tease me about this."

Kai raises his hands in surrender, "We won't, we won't, promise..." He then smirks, "Did you have a little cape like Lloyd did?"

I shake my head, "Yeah no. Like I said, Darkly's used to be a lot more dangerous when I was attending. The only thing I wore that stood out was my hoodie...which had bat ears attached to it."
