The Phantom Ninja

Seliel’s POV

My name is Seliel, the Phantom Ninja. I used to live in a small town called Nom, where everything was completely peaceful. But then something unexpected happened.

I don't know why it happened. Or what, for that matter. But, one day a weird shadow warrior appeared and kidnapped both me and my father.

And just before that. A strange look-alike of the purple ninja, named Senka, declared she was going to send Ninjago into eternal darkness.

This is hardly the first time Ninjago has been threatened. But it's only the second time someone made a threat like that. The first being the Overlord.

Which brings me to where I am now. The Dark island. Luckily, I was able to escape the labor the shadow army had us do.

I've been working on a way out of here without being noticed so far. For some reason, the shadows never check the back of the island.

"Be quite! Are you trying to get us caught!" I jump at the new voice and peak over a tree and see the ninja ridding on the back of a giant squid.

My eyes widen. "What the..."

I watch as the squid places the ninja and their master on the beach. I couldn't help but notice that the Golden Ninja looked a little pale.

"Ugh, not happy to be back on this chunk of Rock." The Red Ninja complains, though I couldn't exactly blame him.

"None of us are, Kai, but we gotta find Senka and shut down whatever she's building!" The Black Ninja says, pounding his fist together. A fighter's attitude, I like that.

"And save mom and the other people Senka kidnapped." The Purple Ninja adds.

"Alright let's get move-" The Golden Ninja then starts coughing, hard. So hard he was forced to his knees.

"Lloyd! Are you okay!?" The Purple Ninja asks her brother.

The Golden Ninja, or Lloyd, groaned, "The Darkness, my powers can't hold it back for much, longer." What? Is he sick or something?

"We are running out of time." The White Ninja states.

"We should probably head for Garmadon's old camp. That's gotta be where they are!" The Blue Ninja says. I roll my eyes, I don't know where this camp they are talking about is but they seem too weak to call where I just escaped from.

Then the Green Ninja glances in my direction.

"Uh, oh." I say, ducking down.

"Someone's watching us." I heard him say.

"Crap!" I start to sneak away, only to be picked up by a gust of wind. "Woah, hey! Put me down!"

"Be quiet." He snaps, as I was moved over to them, "Who are you?"

"That's not important, I just need to get off this island." I tell him.

"We're going to get everyone off this island, that's why we're here." He says.

I glance at the group, along with the two ninja that seemed very injured. "You guys don't seem too put together to me. Look, why don't you worry about defeating the villain, I can escape on my own."

The Red Ninja gave me a skeptical glare, "Oh yeah? And how do we know you aren't working with Senka and then try to rat us out?" He asked.

I gave a 'really' look, "Do I look like I work for that witch to you?" I ask him, gesturing to my human body.

The Cyan Ninja then walks up to me, "Look, I can see we're all on the same side here." She says, "But if you know something about Senka then we need to know."
