The last Hope

(Y/n)'s POV

The ninja we're testing out their new elemental blades while I was showing Papa my new powers.

"Alright, going into shadow form. And now...separate!"

My Shadow split into multiple copies, I moved and the shadows followed.

Papa clapped, "Very impressive."

I laugh, the shadows following my actions, "Oh, I'm not done yet!"

I went physical and walked up to him.

"Alright, I'm going to do something, but it's not going to hurt."

He nodded, "I trust you."

I touched his arm and his shadow became detached from his body.

It waved at him and he waved back.

"This is... this is..."

"Awsome!" I said.

He chuckled, "Definitely."

"Lets head back, Zane would like me so fix the falcon."

I nodded, "Sure."

"I'm still laughing at what happened to you when Zane received the news"

'Not funny.'

"Hehe."

Flashback

We approached Zane and Papa was the first to talk to him.

"Zane, I have some big news."

Zane turned to us, "Hello, father, what's the big news?"

He took a deep breath.

"I'm becoming (Y/n)'s second parent, therefore, she is now your sister."

Zane stood there frozen for a minute before he came up to me.

He looked me up and down and hums

He then hugged me.

"I've always wanted a little sibling.

"Echo Zane."

'We promised not to tell anyone.'

"Fine."

Zane, for some reason, decided to pick me up bridal style.

"Uh, Zane, what are you doing?"

"I have researched the best way to bond with a little sibling is through laughter." Zane explains, "You and Lloyd would choice Hide 'n seek. But I  noticed that tickling would cause the most laughter between the two of you."

My eyes widen and I use shadow form to get out of his grip, "Nope, nope, nope! Not happening!"

Zane smiles and rushes towards me and while I'm in shadow form, I still run as fast as I can.

I then instantly become annoyed, hearing my new father and brother laughing.

"I'm pretty sure it's a permanent change."
