Namjoon softly knocked on the door. The fear and anxiousness he was experiencing was very nauseating to the point he could feel his mouth water.

When Jin opened his door, his face showed immediate disturbance. He opened the door further to let him in the office.

"Mr. Kim, what can I do for you today?" He asked politely.

It had been days since their last encounter. If Jin was honest, he was afraid that he'd get fired or killed for denying the sex offer from one of his boss.

He was healthy and alive so he assumed Namjoon hadn't been angry about it. Yet, having him here was making him extremely nervous and scared.

"I-I feel sick." He stated. His cracked voice gave away that he was uncomfortable himself.

Jin motioned him to have a seat and he took out his clipboard and pen. "What's going on? Is it concerning your diabetes?"

"No. It's my stomach." He admitted.

"Okay. Pain? Discomfort?"

"I'm nauseous."

"Very well. Did you eat anything out of the ordinary?"

"No."

"Are you able to keep foods and liquids down?"

"Yes."

"Any diarrhea? Vomiting?"

He shook his head no and Jin proceeded with the questions. "How long has this been going on for?"

"Four days."

Jin hesitated looking up at him, but in the end he did. The inappropriate offer had happened four days ago. Was it a mere coincidence? Or was he referring to that?

"Okay. I...I'm going to take vitals." He murmured.

Blood pressure was exceptional. Pulse normal, temperature normal, breathing was normal. Lastly, he grabbed a tongue depressor and shined the light of the otoscope.

"Open up for me please."

Namjoon did as told and Jin sighed a bit annoyed. His throat was normal so he couldn't treat that. It was always frustrating to not know the root of the problem.

"I believe what you have is viral. I can't give you antibiotics because there's nothing to treat. I can give you something for nausea. You're able to keep foods and liquids down so I'm not worried about dehydration. Keep a bland diet for a few days to avoid any diarrhea or vomiting."

"Thank you." He whispered, getting off the bed. He defeatedly made his way to the door, but stopped before walking out.

"Jin," he said, turning back to face him.

"Yes?" He replied quietly.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend you that night. I really have been nauseous since then. I don't think it's something medically wrong with me. I think it's my conscience. It was wrong of me to ask that. I promise to keep my distance unless it's related to my health."

He opened the door and grabbed the large brown paper bag he had left behind. He reached in and pulled out the broken granola bar that Jin had dropped.

"It fell the other day. I thought I'd give it back."

Jin furrowed his eyebrows slightly confused. He took the broken bar and looked back at him. Namjoon stood there handing him the bag.

"I bought you a box of them. Just in case you didn't want to eat that one. Again, I'm sorry. I hope you can forgive me."

Namjoon excused himself and with that he was gone. Jin was still in utter shock at his apology. Men like him were known to be cruel, heartless, arrogant.
