Cara's POV:-
"Alright, so, what I'm getting from this is you and Liam are half-siblings and now, he has leverage against you which none other than Santiago Torres?"
Ashton asked with a confused expression as soon as Dean finished telling him the whole story.
"Long story short, yes" Dean answered his question for me.
"God damn it, Cara! I left you alone for like what? Two weeks? And guess what's the first thing I'm listening to? My best friend has a brother she doesn't even know about" He remarked sarcastically
"Hey! It's not like we got time to meet and greet as a family, besides We have a bigger problem to focus on" I snapped at him
"Yeah yeah, Mission: Save Santiago. Something tells me I'm not gonna enjoy my first time in Spain" He smirked and I threw the nearest cushion pillow at him, making him chuckle.
"Ouch... Anyways, do we know where exactly Liam is keeping him?" Ashton asked and my eyes met dean's
"Well?"
"Ahh, about that..." He hesitate first before opening his tab, "So, I successfully tracked down the area Santiago called me from... Which was a restaurant" he explained, pointing at the map.
"Now, I did a little research on my own around that area which leads to..." He paused.
"We don't have all day for this" I snapped.
He cleared his throat before continuing, "Not so far from that restaurant, it leads to three mansions... Looks the same. My guess is Liam's safe house is one of them"
We are doomed.
"What you are saying is we still don't know where he is" Ashton simply stated and Dean shook his head.
"I thought you had a plan, Dean," I remarked as I crossed my arms against my chest, staring at him.
"I still do but there is no guarantee that it will work" He replied as he shook up his head, meeting my gaze.
Ashton collapsed on the couch, letting out a dramatic sigh," might as well listen to it" He stated.
I nodded at him before he became to explain his plan, "how about you convince Liam to leave Santiago. He's gonna make some excuse but not when you have something that tempts him..."
"And that'll be...?"
"Tell him, you want to kill Santiago by your hands-"
"I am not doing this" I growled, cutting him off.
He let out a sigh and decided to finish his whole sentence, completely ignoring me, "you don't have to, Cara. Just gain his trust and keep him occupied while I and Ashton find out way into the safe house and rescue Santiago"
I let out a deep sigh and shook my head, "We are doing this" I announced and they both looked at me with shock.
"You can't be serious" Ashton stated.
"I don't have any other choice" I pointed out.
"You could die"
"I don't care as long as Santiago is safe-" Aston stood up and stepped towards me, placing his hands on either side of my shoulders.
"I can't lose my best friend," He said firmly as I shifted my gaze to him.
"And I can't lose him... please, Ashton. Help me. I can't do this without you." I pleaded. He shook his head for a moment before meeting my gaze again.
"Fine but if Liam harms you in any possible way. I'm going to kill him myself" He stated in a completely serious tone.
A slight smile appeared on my lips and I nodded at him, "bet" I said before pulling him into a tight hug.
He hugged me as tightly back I before pulling away and glanced at Dean, "come on. We can do a group hug"
Dean smiled brightly before joining us and pulled us in his embrace. I closed my eyes and smiled slightly to myself. At that moment, I realized something...
No matter how messed we are, we've always got each other's back.
Later on, I found myself staring at my phone screen which was displaying Liam's number," just do it already, it's not like he'll murder you through phone" Ashton commented
"I am aware but it's kinda weird to talk to him after knowing-"
"That he's your brother? Yeah, I get that but pull yourself together, women," He said, making me roll my eyes.
I let out a deep sigh and finally touched the dial button. I thought he wouldn't answer but to my surprise, He did.
"Hello there, darling"
