"Congratulations on your debut, Ms. Kim. Thanks to this years' special event, our sales both abroad and local has sky rocketed! Not to mention our stocks as well." one of her finance advisor said
Jennie smiles. "Anything I should be concern about?"
"No ma'am. We might need to restock some of our pieces because it's currently trending right now and we believe it will last for the long run. However, it is better to talk and report this to the headquarters about continuing this as a trademark for more upcoming seasons."
Jennie nods. "I'll need proof for that, Mr. Park. I expect to have the full report given to me in the next 3 days...that'll be all for today. Good job everyone." Jennie said getting up from her chair
Just as she was about to leave the door, she halt her tracks and turn her back around to see everyone still on their bowing position. "Ah...to celebrate all of your hard work, you all with get an extra bonus on your next paycheque along with two flight tickets to Jeju-do. I'm sure you all have someone to share it with...그럼 (good bye)." Jennie said
"감사합니다 대표님!(Thank you very much, CEO!)" She heard her staff's said along with their cheers right after. Jennie smiles as she strides down the hallway
"Do Yeon-ah, make sure everyone gets it and don't forget to multiply their per hour rate with 1,5." Jennie said while she opens the door to her office
Jennie was surprised to see Kai sitting there with a smile on his face. "Oppa...what are you doing here?"
"Do I need a reason?" Kai said while Jennie closes their gap and seal their lips together in a small kiss
"I just miss you, and I thought we can grab lunch together." Kai said taking a look at the girl in front of him
"I miss you too...do you have any ideas on where we should go?" Jennie smiles while replying to the older man
"Hmm...I did make a reservation at my friend's restaurant. I wanted to introduce you to him because he's a very close hyung (older brother) of mine." Kai said
Kai drove the two of them in his black Mercedes out for lunch. Kai is actually nervous along the way because it is the first time in five years he's introducing a girl to his friend. He didn't know how his hyung would react when he sees Jennie. On the other hand, Jennie is actually pretty excited to meet this close hyung of Kai's. Kai never mentioned anything to her during his time here in Seoul, and she thought he didn't know anyone other than Chan Yeol.
They arrive at Bukcheon Hanok Village, where every cafe and restaurants here uses the traditional Korean style houses. Jennie remembered visiting here a couple of years back, but since she was too busy she wasn't able to visit often. They entered one of the hanok house, and Jennie was amazed by how subtle the whole place is decorated, and the nostalgic feeling it brings.
