Jennie opens her eyes all of sudden and looks around her room. It's one of those days where she would wake up in the middle of the night and think she's late, but soon realizes it's not the time to wake up yet. She sighs as she close her eyes once again. When she run her hands over to her left side, she couldn't find the warmth of the man sleeping besides her. She gets up from the bed and found her bed empty.
Now Jennie has both of her eyes open wide and felt an immediate rush to get out from her bed and find his whereabouts. She looks down to see if he's in the living room, but he is nowhere to be seen. She went downstairs and takes a look at every single closed doors in her penthouse, until she opened the door to her study to find Kai sitting there with a glass of whiskey in his hands and a bottle of it on her desk

Jennie notice a lazy smile appeared on Kai's lips as he twirl his whiskey around. "Heyyybabyyy.." Kai said slurring his words
Jennie's heart sink as she saw the sight. So this is what he meant, Jennie thought to herself. Kyung Soo had warned her during the first day Kai was admitted to the hospital that she will be witnessing heart breaking moments during these times. She didn't know she'd be seeing it this soon. Back when Kai was in the hospital, she didn't see any weird signs coming from him. It wasn't until now she finally see what he's like, and she has to admit he's different.
Jennie walks over slowly to Kai's direction and found what he's up to. There were sketches scattered all over the desk, along with his iPad displaying his clothing designs. Jennie assume this is for his upcoming project with Gucci, and she smiles at the sight. She found a couple of hand written notes on the side along with an initial 'J' on it. "W-why are y-you looking at my drawingss? T-this is classified, miss." Kai said while putting his upper body to cover his works
"Oppa, you're drunk. Let's go to bed, hmm?" Jennie said trying to lift his body but soon met with his hand denying hers. Jennie studies his expression and her heart sinks again as she saw him in a mess. It's almost as if it's not the person she knows.
Kai looks upset and replied, "Nooo, I have t-to finish t-thiss."
"You can do it in the morning, right now you need to rest. Doctor's orders, remember?" Jennie said trying to reach for his arm again but got denied for the second time
"No resttt...He w-won't let m-me." Kai said then hiccups
He? Jennie ask to herself. "Who's he, oppa?"
Kai remained silent for awhile as his expression grew darker. "Kim Jongin"
Jennie scrunch her eyebrows when she heard him say his own name. The thought finally hit her. Kyung Soo mentioned something about a 'him' that Kai always mentioned during these times. Just as she was about to say something, Kai groans and cups his hands to his face, making Jennie worry. "Get away from me." He said with a weak voice
