Betrayal

Jennie, Kai and Mino's currently having their dinner. There were classical music playing in the background as they enjoyed their meal. After talking for quite sometime, Kai learned that he and Mino has so many similar interest and not to mention their interest in hot fashion items. Jennie smiles watching them passionately talking to one another. She wished it would be the same with him and Tae Hyung, but with their first encounter ended badly she highly doubt she'll ever get this scene.

Kai mentioned how Tae Hyung was on their meeting when they were enjoying their time drinking wine by the beach. Jennie was heartbroken to hear what Tae Hyung said about wanting to make her feel what he felt. Even before Tae Hyung reveals his feelings to her, he always protected her and make sure to not let her feelings get hurt whenever something bad happens. That's probably one of the reasons why she felt like Tae Hyung is her own sibling, because that's what she and Ji Yong did to one another. Her phone dings signalling a text message coming in, breaking her thoughts

Jennie scrunch her eyebrows and look around to see if Tae Hyung is in the room. After a couple of minutes searching, her eyes finally found him sitting on the other side of the room. He gives her a small smile and wave

She found Tae Hyung leaving the room. She bit her lip as a sign of her dilemma. She know she can't hide him forever and like Kai said, she needs to give him a chance to speak. But after what happened a couple of days ago, her fear is getting the best out of her. Eventually, she braced herself and sigh as she gets up from her chair. "I'm going to the bathroom." Jennie said and Kai nods

She walks towards where the balcony is and found Tae Hyung's back. She took her position to stand beside him. "What do you wanna talk about?"

"My mother's sick. She got cancer." Tae Hyung said and Jennie couldn't help but to look at him

Tae Hyung continues. "I was trying to tell you what happened that day I didn't come to your show."

Jennie puts her hand to cover her mouth as she couldn't believe what she just heard. Jennie knows how close Tae Hyung is with his mom, and even if he's mostly abroad he'll make sure to call her every single day. "Tae Hyung-ah, I'm so sorry." Jennie said wrapping her arms around Tae Hyung as they hug

Tae Hyung couldn't help but to cry. It's been tough on him and Jennie wouldn't give him a chance to talk is putting a lot of pressure on him. Jennie couldn't help but to let a few drops of tears flow from her eyes because of him crying. She felt bad for not listening to him and letting her assumptions of his behaviour change get the best of her. "I'm so sorry. Please forgive me Jennie-yah." Tae Hyung said in between tears

Jennie shakes her head. "I should the one who's sorry for not listening to you and visiting her right away." Jennie said finally releasing the hug

"How did you find out?" Jennie ask

"A friend of my mom called me just as I was about to take off to your show. I knew you're going to hate me but I just lost it when I heard she's sick." Tae Hyung said sniffling

Jennie wiped the tears away from his eyes. "How is she now?"

"She's doing well with her chemotherapy." Jennie nods as she pats Tae Hyung's back

"Next time you plan to visit her let me know so I can come with you." Tae Hyung nods

Silence fills in for awhile as both of them tries to calm their emotions down. It's been awhile since they've talked as if it's been years since they met each other. "You were different." Jennie said as Tae Hyung averts his eyes to look at her direction
