Somewhere in the Estate:

"You do know he is the heir? Future head of the family. Our entire existence depends on how he treats that girl." Makoto said.

"Yes, but the truth will be out sooner or later Mom. I am afraid...." Makoto's son. Wakatoshi's cousin Ryuji spoke.

"How can you be so irresponsible? All these years, he alienated himself. His good for nothing mother and runaway father. Yet he was your grandparent's favourite. You risked everything I worked for...for you...." Makoto spoke.

"They mustn't know Mom. Especially she. All the blame for the space expedition is still on the dead director. Y/n's mum...If anyone realises that there's a new investigation for faulty supplied equipment...Makoto industries will be finished." Ryuji sat down trembling.

"And whose fault is that? Mine? What makes you think I can be able to help you...?" Makoto asked.

"Do anything, force that Wakatoshi to wed her, treat her well. Ask the servents to treat her well. I don't know. Because if I am going down, you are going down with me and as well as this entire family." Ryuji replied.

Despite being so proud of raising children normally, Makoto realised that day, unlike her sister Rei Ushijima. Rei was once again more blessed. Wakatoshi was a favourite for a reason.

As Ushijima opened the door for me, I got out of the car. He stood in front of me as his shoulder covered my body if any fashion disaster occurred with my kimono. To my gladness, nothing happened as I was escorted out by holding his hand.

A soft wind rushed through my face. It was pleasant weather. The festival was on a softly decorated hill. Lights and lanterns are everywhere. Apparently, it was a festival to celebrate the God of Wind. Marking a day where major changes and revelations will be considered.

I saw the supposed gate, which included beautifully decorated stairs with traditional lamps on the side. However, before I could enter, Ushjima called out my name.

I turned.

"I have something for you...." He smiled. I wondered what.

He came closer and pulled a pretty hairpin with crystals, forming a beautiful moon with tiny petals surrounding it. It was the prettiest hairpin I had ever seen.

I looked at him.

"May I?" He asked. I softly nodded, still mesmerised.

He touched few strands of my hair and softly put the hairpin on my hair. He carefully adjusted the pin.

"You insisted I keep the moon bracelet of yours. However, it didn't feel right that you didn't have something from my side. I guess we are even now." He replied.

I took his hand and kissed it. He didn't see it coming.

"I will treasure it forever. Thank you so much." I spoke. He grinned softly and gave a quick peck on my cheeks.

Forwarding his hand.

"Shall we?" He asked. I took his arms and went on walking.

We kept walking.

"I feel so mannerless however. If you allow I want to express how beautiful you look today. Its feels like an honour to be adored by you and adore you in return." Ushijima spoke with a little hint of embarrassment.

I softly held his arms tighter, signalling I accepted his compliment, which made him smile in return.

I also guessed he wasn't used to calling females beautiful. I doubt he even found anyone that peaked his interest.
