THIRD PERSON.

"I DON'T LIKE SAD KATE." SOPHIA FROWNED, THE four girls sat at a table in one of Kate's favourite clubs, a drink untouched beside the girl who had her arms and head on the table.

"You know she's sad when she won't even drink her vodka." Hazel sighed and shrugged, "I'll drink it for you Kate."

"Touch my vodka and I'll fucking murder you." She mumbled in response, Hazel's eyes widening slightly as her hand slowly pulled away from the glass.

"I thought Corbyn was staying with you two," Sophia mentioned as Evie gave her a nod.

"He's at the studio right now," Evie shrugged, "he said he'll text Kate when he's on the way back."

"I told him to come here." Kate corrected her best friend, her head still on the table while she sighed, "he can have my drink."

"He's good for you." Hazel smiled at Kate, "are you guys a thing?"

"Kind of," she shrugged, sitting herself up before she slouched in her seat, "I just feel bad because of everything happening."

"I'm sure he understands." Sophia nodded and smiled, "he did fight Isaac to protect you so.."

"I really like him," Evie mentioned with a smile as she turned to Kate, the girl looking over at Evie confused, "i'm still a bit unsure about him but from what I've seen, he's a good guy."

"Unsure..?"

"Yeah but.. don't worry about it." Evie shrugged, "your call, you're the one seeing him."

"But if you're unsure then I want to know why," she frowned, "because you said that about Isaac and now you're right."

"I don't mean it in that way." Evie shook her head.

"Then what do you mean it as?" Kate asked with a worried tone in her voice, "are you saying I shouldn't be trusting him?"

"...Kate you seem a bit all over the place with your emotions and thoughts right now." Sophia said as she frowned slightly, "Evie probably just meant that she doesn't know his intentions like you do."

"I don't know his intentions." Kate paused as her eyes widened slightly, "is my taste in guys really this shit?"

"No, Kate no." Hazel shook her head, "trust this guy, I think this guy is so much better than the last."

"Are you just saying that because you think his friends are hot?"

"Hot friends are a bonus." Sophia smiled as she leant forward, "but no, we think he's good for you and he treats you very well."

"We aren't even- we haven't even had any lovey moments." Kate looked at them confused.

"He does the bare minimum and for me, that's enough to prove he's better than the last." Hazel shrugged.

"He's literally staying with us until you feel better." Evie looked at her best friend, "he's good, I like how loving and patient he is towards you."

"But that could be an act, I don't know how I feel or if he means it because i-"

"Ladies," Corbyn interrupted Kate's sentence, sitting down beside her as he hands fell into his lap while Kate turned to look at him, "are you okay?"

"I'm fine." Kate slowly nodded, "I thought you'd be there much later."

"I left early to come here." Corbyn shrugged and smiled, looking to the rest of the girls sat down at the table, "hey."

"Hi." Hazel nodded and smiled, "are you buying next round of drinks?"
