"Y/n?" Rosie asked me as I was casually eating some raspberries outside.

"Huh?" I called back as I watched her walk out of our house with my damn journal in hand. I was able to control myself and pretend that was nothing.

"What's this?"

"Just my journal." I said as calmly as I could. She was about to flip open the pages and I quickly threw the rest of my raspberries into my mouth as I shot up from the ground and took the book out of her hands.

"What the hell?" She kind of yelled at me as I put the leather back journal behind my back.

"wuot?" I mumbled with a lot of raspberries in my mouth. She squinted her eyes at me and put her hands on her hips,

"Why did you take your journal away from me?" I swallowed the rest of the raspberries and clearly responded to her,

"My handwriting is bad and I didn't want you to judge me." I lied to her. She obviously didn't buy my lie and took a step towards me, making me take a step back.

"What's really in there?"

"And why would I tell you?"

"Because you love me," She countered with a smug look on her face, "and if you don't tell me the truth, that means you don't love me."

"You're really playing that card?" I asked her as I just looked back at her, annoyed. Rosie just nodded her head proudly,

"Yup. So tell me." I groaned out loudly as my shoulders dropped in defeat.

"Fine! I write about my feelings about you and stuff in my journal." I told her, telling the truth. Her eyebrows shot up and her eyes widened slightly. Then a smirk grew on her lips,

"So you wanna tell me exactly what you write?"

"No, because I haven't written in it since a while ago and it's all from before I asked you to be my girlfriend."

"Even better, now give me the damn book!" She shouted, making a break for me. I was able to quickly react and we were both off running around the beach. I was screaming for her to leave me alone and she just ignored me. I started to rip out the pages that I had written on as we were running and she noticed since she yelled at me,

"Don't rip them out!" I just continued and got all of them successfully out. I have no idea what to do with them as I haven't thought that far yet. An idea came to mind and I turned around, sprinting towards home. Rosie was caught off guard and stopped momentarily before racing after me. I didn't care about her as my eyes were just set on the burning fire outside.

Rosie seemed to understand what I was going to do as I heard her screaming 'no' every other second. I smirked to myself and when I got to the fire, threw all the pages into it before immediately getting tackled to the ground. Rosie sat on top of my back as I was face first into the sand. I felt her moving around on top of me and then,

"Her eyes are always so mesmerizing when the sun sets, making me love the sunsets even more."

And she was able to get a page out of the fire before it burnt, fantastic. I sighed into the sand and turned my head sideways, glancing up at my girlfriend who was continuing reading the page with a stupid smile. She must've felt my eyes on her as she looked down past the paper and wiggled her eyebrows at me,

"Who knew you loved complimenting me."

"Ughh," I whined as I just shut my eyes and tried to push Rosie off of me. She wouldn't budge and I had to resort to tickling her in order to get her off my back. I stood up and brushed myself off, rolling my eyes as Rosie's were still locked onto the stupid piece of paper. I glanced to the fire and thankfully all the other ones were burned. Honestly, I'm surprised she didn't find it earlier, but I mean I did bury it underneath sand.
