My eyes scanned over the multiple guards aiming their guns at us. There were a few with their swords drawn and then I almost let out a broken sob as they had captured Jennie, Felix, Alice, and Joan.

I don't want to think negatively about the situation at hand, but it's getting pretty hard seeing them tied up. I held Rosie's body close to me and she was colder than the average person should be. It is cold in the chapel, so I do understand that, but it is a little worrying.

"Move!" A loud voice said from behind the guards. They moved to the sides and made a clear pathway towards us. Now at the beginning of the aisle was the Parks staring me down, a look of pure anger present on their faces. Her father marched towards us, each step echoing loudly through the building. Her mother stayed put at the back and just crossed her arms. I rolled my eyes at her and the man was now only a few meters away from me. I stared him down,

"And what do I owe the pleasure of having the great Park before me?" I said sarcastically. That made him more pissed off, but I have nothing to lose now. He drew his sword and pointed it at my throat,

"Give me that attitude one more time—"

"Oh no, I'm so scared!" I said dramatically, chuckling a little at the end. Lisa also hid laughter as she knew this was probably the end too. The man's face grew red and he blew a forceful amount of air out of his nose.

"Is that supposed to be intimidating?" I asked him.

"I should just kill all of you now!" He yelled at us. I shrugged my shoulders,

"Alright, you do that." I said nonchalantly. I subtly squeezed Rosie's body three times to let her know that I love her. At least I got to show her one last time before my end. He squinted his eyes at me,

"You want to die." He stated. I rolled my eyes at him,

"Very observant I see." He put his sword back in its holster and gave me a crooked smile,

"I'm going to keep you alive for as long as I can; and torture the living daylights out of all of you." He said proudly. I clenched my jaw as that meant I would have to see and experience what my girl went through. He noticed my change in demeanor, "ah, I see you're not too fond of my idea. Perfect. Take them to the dungeon."

"Dungeon?!" Jennie yelled as the guards started to take them away. A few guards walked cautiously up to Lisa and I. I scared them a bit by pretending I was going to attack them. They flinched hard and I laughed,

"Ah pathetic." The one grew embarrassed and then they went to grab and restrain Lisa. Four came my way and tried to take Rosie out of my arms, "not a damn chance," one started to grab me, "and get your damn hands off of me. I can walk by myself." They surprisingly let me walk all by myself as I followed them out of the chapel and down a path towards the house. I kept glancing down at Rosie and she still had her eyes closed. She also hasn't moved at all, so my hope is slowly dwindling. I just rubbed my thumb back and forth along her forearm as I continued walking.

We soon arrived at their house and were led down a musty stone staircase in the back. I climbed down it and was met with multiple cells. I saw Jennie and Felix getting ushered into one and Alice and Joan were already locked up in one as they were the first ones down here. I was heading to the cage Lisa was in and got yanked back by my collar,

"You're not going in there with your buddy." The head guard said as he pointed to the cell at the end. I gave Lisa a sorrowful look and she just gave me a weak smile back. I then walked down to the cell and went inside, ready to collapse to the ground out of exhaustion.

"Put Roseanne in the other cell." He told his guards. I snapped my head around and stared them down. I must've looked pretty intimidating as the guards didn't want to enter my cell.
