Blake's New Boyfriend Part 2

This week has been long and tiring, I've had several dance rehearsals and Anthony has me doing private voice lessons, he wants me to perform a song at the upcoming Kickback this weekend. Not to mention my mom has called me numerous times to either say that she wants to be a part of my life again or to tell me I've ruined her life and that I'm her biggest mistake. The usual.

Danny knew that I've been having a rough week lately. He's been trying to get my mind off things by taking me to my favorite restaurant or by playing Assassin's Creed with me. But alas, we have to go to school.

It was lunch time and I was trying to enjoy my Acai bowl, but for some ungodly reason Tori was sitting next to me. I don't know why she's sitting next to me, the only reason I'm staying is because Beck and Jade won't let me leave.

"Hey can you pass the salt?"

Jade was displeased at Tori's request.

"Why should I?"

"Cause my French fries aren't salty enough?"

I couldn't help but snort at her answer, she sure as hell was salty enough to find out Danny was over her.

Jade groaned passing the salt to her.

"Sorry to put you to that trouble."

Suddenly someone put their hands over my eyes and a very sexy voice asked to guess who. I couldn't help but get a devilish smirk on my face.

"Uhhh is it Chris Evans?"

Danny laughed and took his hands off my eyes.

I leapt up and gave him a kiss, giddy to see him.

"Sorry my love, you'll have to settle for me."

"What are you doing here?"

"I had a half day, I thought I would come visit you for lunch."

Jade decided to pipe in with her own devilish grin.

"Well this is so nice. Daniel gets to spend time with his new girlfriend and his used girlfriend."

I couldn't help but roll my eyes at her comment. She and I had already talked about the situation, she knows that I trust him but we both see how uncomfortable Tori is and she wants to take advantage of that. I gave her my blessing.

"You know you can try to make this awkward but it's not going to work. Because unlike you everyone at this table is mature."

Is that what she calls it?

"And by the way I dumped him, so ha!"

Yeah, you're the pinnacle of maturity.

Jade asked if I invited Danny to the Kickback.

"Yeah, this will be the first time I've seen her perform."

Tori perked up at this.

"Perform? What do you mean perform? People are supposed to perform?"

Beck chimed in.

"Our very own Blake is going to be singing a song for everyone per the request of the school."

Tori looked horrified at that.

"Since when do you sing? You can't sing!"

"According to the school I can."

I turned to give Danny a kiss leaving Tori with another outraged face. If she's not careful, it will freeze like that.

"Hey baby? I made some of my Abuelita's brownies. You want one?"

Danny was about to grab one when Tori chimed in with her fake as fuck attitude.

"Sorry, Danny doesn't like brownies."

"Really? Cause he's had mine before and he actually asked to take some home once."

He was already digging in to the bag.

"Yeah, they're really good."

"What?"

Jade decided to dumb things down for Tori.

"He said Blake's brownies are really good."

"I made you brownies twice and you told me you didn't like brownies."

Danny looked uncomfortable at the sudden confrontation.

" Yeah but these are....different."

"Different! What do you mean different!"

We were both growing exasperated at her childishness.

"Tori..."

Before she could bitch any more, I quickly shoved a brownie in her mouth. She chewed for a minute while we all watched for her reaction.

"I gotta go."

She quickly grabbed her stuff and scuttled off. What she needs is some magic brownies.
