"I don't want this," I mumbled to myself while pouting, suddenly I felt a hand on my thigh, I flinched at the sudden touch, I looked at the owner of the hand.

"You okay?" He asked while looking at me with a smile.

"As if I am," I thought to myself, "Yeah, I'm okay, thanks for asking," I said back to him with a fake smile, trying to hide my pain, "Yeah you both will get engaged by next week, why not we do shop for your both engagement," Mr. Thomas said while my fake ass parents signaled me with their eyes that I have no other choice but to agree.

I sighed heavily before agreeing, after the engagement I'll just run off to Korea, good thing my marriage is next year.

"Well, I've already thought of a good venue for your engagement," Mr. Thomas said as I tried my best to hide my anger, I couldn't stand in here more, so I just excused myself to the washroom.

Those stupid crackhead fake parents of mine, planned everything, Aaah I don't wanna get engaged to a stranger, I was in my thoughts when my phone beeped with a notification.

"Hey, Y/n?" I heard a voice calling me, I turned back, and saw Xu Kai standing there, "Uh, yeah," I said back, "Why are you here?" I asked him, "Well, you were taking too long so yeah thought of checking on you," He said as I nodded.

"Yeah I'll come soon," I said, "No I'll wait for you," He said as I awkwardly nodded.

I went inside the cubicle, what the heck, HE ENTERED A LADIES WASHROOM.

I went and did my business, I came out and was washing my hands when I felt a pair of hands wrapping around my waist, I flinched and turned back instantly.

"K-Kai, what are you doing?" I asked him while stuttering, "Hmm, enjoying with my future wife," He said while sniffing my hair, it felt uncomfortable even though he didn't do anything inappropriate.

"I know we've both never met each other before, but my dad used to always send me your pics when I was in China," He said as I bit my lower lip, he was a good man, yet I felt uncomfortable with him.

"Uh," I said and nodded, "You'll become 18 by next year, and then we both will be married," He said while smiling as I nodded back with my fake smile.

"I really wanna know you more, how about we go on dates," He said as I widened my eyes, NO WAY.

"Umm, my business is over here, how about we go back," I suggested as he smiled and nodded, I was about to turn back and walk away when he caught my wrist and pulled me towards him.

He planted a kiss on my forehead with loads of affection, I just froze, He smiled seeing my state, he took my hand and then we head back to our parents.

After 1 Week

Y/n Pov

Well I thought that this Xu Kai would be a big jerk, but to my surprise, he is actually a very good guy, I mean he did act romantic at first, but when I actually said to him that I feel uncomfortable, he respected my private space.

I loved that thing about this guy a lot, and I wouldn't mind marrying him, but not too early also, I wanna achieve my dreams too, so yeah I am sure about leaving my country for good until I complete my education and achieve my dreams. After that, I won't mind marrying him.

And here I'm putting on a ring on his finger, guessed right, the day of engagement.

"Hey Y/n, are you happy?" That Kai guy asked me as I looked at him with a smile (fake), "Yeah, I am," I said trying to assure him, but I guess I have poor acting skills, he looked at me with worried eyes, "You sure? you don't look like that tho," He said as I looked down, how much I hated this engagement, I didn't want to engage this early.

"I'm all fine, don't worry," I said assuring him with a smile as he nodded and looked back at the cameras with a smile, holding onto my waist securely, we became more like friends so yeah I didn't mind.

"Okay, now a final picture of their kiss," The cameraman said as I widened my eyes, please no.

My uncle, aunt, my fake parents cheered in for a kiss, as I looked at Kai awkwardly,

"This is for the photo," Kai said as he gently pulled me by my waist, am I really gonna lose my first kiss like this?

He leaned in, I closed my eyes in defeat, knowing that he's gonna kiss me, but instead I felt his lips on my forehead.

I opened my eyes, to see him smiling at me, "I know you are uncomfortable, hope this one didn't make you that uncomfortable," He whispered as I passed my sweetest smile to him, "Thanks," I whispered back as he pats my hair lovingly.

"What are friends for," He said as I smiled at him, he was surely a very good guy every girl could ask for, but still I felt I wasn't the one for him. I wasn't enough for him.

He did all those things which were enough to make any girl fall for him head over heels, but I still did not, I couldn't understand the reason, no matter how hard I tried to make the first move to be romantic but I couldn't do, because something inside me stopped me from doing that.
